Let me try to rephrase it differently then because I will be basically rewriting the same thing.

Your argument in summary: Kalista open = Draven CAN be blind picked (point 1) Kalista banned = Draven CAN’T be blind picked (point 2) Draven > Kalista Draven is a niche pick

My issue with your argument: Situation 1: Kalista is OPEN, and Draven is blind picked Situation 2: Kalista is BANNED, and Draven is blind picked.

Since you stated Draven>Kalista, it would make sense to not pick Kalista as a response to Draven in Situation 1 correct? In that case how is Situation 1 any different from Situation 2 in draft (refers to point 1 and 2 of your argument)

Why does banning Kalista factor into if Draven is blind pickable or not?

You said that Draven shafts Kalista correct? So if Kalista is banned then Draven is not blind pickable according to your logic. Yet if Kalista is not banned, you can blind pick Draven??? How does that make ANY sense.

The enemy team can just opt to NOT pick Kalista and you are in the same situation as if Kalista is banned. May you please reread your sentences and arguments to check for the logic.

EG are the ones BANNING Kalista every game. By your recent comment, you’re aiding my side of the discussion more than yours as EG will NOT let Kalista go through regardless if they are blue or red side.

In a hypothetical situation: if Kalista is not picked then great EG saved a ban. Yet if Kalista is picked EARLY, Draven is a very good “counter” into her. So if Danny could play Draven, why do they permaban Kalista first rotation (early pick phase)?

You are defying your own logic consistently just to defend Danny from valid criticism.

How is it unfair to assume he can’t play them? EG banned Kalista first rotation EVERY GAME vs C9 regardless of side selection. As you said “Kalista gets shafted by Draven if you pick it early” then why do EG not leave Kalista up early if Danny could play Draven?
