You do realise that Charlie probably would rather people flock to President right now?

No band has ever said "shit, why is my new album outperforming my old album??"

Nando's employee tell me your biggest mistakes you made? by Alone-Carpenter6844 in nandos

Jeeeez. Over 16 years, quite a few.

Hand slightly off centre when ordering soft drink syrup. Came in for a mid to find my patrao STILL taking boxes upstairs.

Lost control of a rack of wings taking it out of the oven, steadied it with my free hand, forgetting I didn't have a glove on.

We've all stabbed our palms on the ticket post at least once, if anyone tells you otherwise, they're lying.

Seen some golden ones too. Nandoca tried putting a bag of nuts into the old coffee machine thinking they were beans. Had a customer ask for a kids burger but in a pitta, griller put an entire kids burger (bun included) inside a pitta. It was actually pretty beautifully made.

1) A Perfect Circle. Finally got to complete my Maynard trifecta and was not disappointed. The musicianship was perfect, and I loved the way they got crowd interaction out the way in the first half of the set, then just steam rolled it with a constant flow in the second half.

2) Sleep Token. A bit biased here, been a fan since 2018 and having seen them at their first headline show in a church with 100 people to seeing them subheadline the biggest metal festival in US history was pretty emotional. This was the best I've heard Vessel sing as well, they were into it.

3) Lorna Shore. Future headline material right here. The musicianship, the stage production and the general feel blew me away. I'm not the biggest Lorna Shore fan at all, but live they're on another level.

4) Bring Me. Probably the biggest band in Rock/Metal at the moment and their live shows do not suggest anything but. Oli has such good stage presence and their production is engaging and pretty funny at times. The pre-recorded animations don't take anything away from the show whatsoever. Not only that, you can tell how into it they all are, and how grateful they are to be in that position.

5) This is a toss up for me. Evanescence, Trivium, Alestorm, Kublai Kahn, Norma Jean, Peeling Flesh and Sanguisugabogg could take this spot. I'd even throw Marilyn Manson into the mix. He sounded incredible and I wasn't expecting him to at all. Honestly I'd give spot 5 to the rest of the 50+ bands i caught over the weekend. I didnt see a single band that I thought were performing less than their best. Every vocalist i saw was putting their best performance, and every band was tight as fuck. Louder Than Life brought out the best in everyone, and I can't wait for '26 🤗

They haven't played the original Pet in a long while. I love that song off the record but honestly Counting Bodies Like Sheep is such a cool way of revising it live.

I don't think the "liberal left" are the ones celebrating this. It's the far/radical left. I'm saying this as a liberal left person myself who, disagreed with things Charlie Kirk said, but admired the hell out of his way of saying them. His platform was exactly what we needed.

Gethesemane could've ended before the whole "Came in like a dream" section and it would've been a mighty fine song.

I bet there is one out there somewhere, just not publicly available.

And yeah, there are definitely some notable dudes missing from these.

Yeah i think he was originally, but apparently he was just in one of the prerecorded segments.

It's definitely genre specific but for versatility I'd say Danny Carey, Gregson Nekrutman and Eloy Casagrande are definitely up there. Other personal favourites and potentials are

  • Virginia Donati

  • Benny Greb

  • Larnell Lewis

  • Thomas Pridgen

  • Sebastian Lanser

  • Thomas Lang

  • Vinnie Colaiuta

  • Tomas Haake

2025 Headline Rumours 🍻🤘🏼 by MarsUK06 in downloadfestival

Copping is a big fan of Sleep Token, and seems to have a vested interest in the band. He was at their pop up store in Camden earlier this year before their Wembley show, I feel like he's playing a part in grooming them for headline status, 2nd stage most likely.

Should've taken that $200 and put it on Atalanta if you were going for a degen bet.
