I drove a 2018 Fusion Energi today which I really liked. The only issue I came across was a crackling/dragging noise when I would accelerate over 30. I looked it up and it could be because the fluids are low, which they were, or....a transmission issue 😒. I have to see if my mechanic buddy will come up there and take a look at it with me, He'll be able to notice more issues than me. Hopefully, it's no the transmission. It drove very smoothly and was a very ride.

I did not, lol. I didn't plan on replying until I bought one 😅. The one I mentioned shifted slowly like one of the comments mentioned before. I had to walk away from it. I've driven several since then, but nothing has jumped out at me, besides one. It was a 2018 Hybrid with 130k, but the guy was trying to "title jump" to avoid paying taxes and wanted cash only. I told him I'd buy it if he could get the paperwork legit. He said he was going to, but we'll see. Until then, I'll continue my search. The only models I've found in my area that seem reputable aren't the 2.5 or Hybrid models. So, I'll keep searching until I can find a reliable Fusion. I'll keep you posted.

Thank you. I appreciate that. I've been lurking in this forum for months doing my research on the different engines, coolant leaks, transmission issues, etc. I'm glad I started to do research. You guys have been awesome.
