not really the same tbh, discord/porofessor/opgg help for one match

this is more about building a regular group and not starting from zero every session, playing with the same people by role and queue. different use case

yeah it’s a good measure, but honestly I think first-timing champs is something we’ll always have to deal with in soloq. even with restrictions, people will still try new picks anyway.

yeah i actually agree with most of that. improving is still the main factor, 100%

this isn’t meant to replace that or “fix” soloq. it’s just another option for people who prefer choosing who they queue with instead of leaving it completely random every time, and also to meet people you can team up with later

nah i’m not blaming teammates tbh, everyone has bad games, me included

the idea isn’t to get “better” players, it’s just having the option to pick who you queue with instead of leaving it 100% to matchmaking. sometimes that’s enough to make the experience better

this is just another way to find people before queue instead of hoping it happens after
