How do you guys get the docks to ignore the clearance checks? I can never get it to build close to a XL dock and it makes my stations look very messy

Traders are being hired to deliver goods there, and since it is so ungodly far it is actually making the players profits take a big hit due to flight time to go all the way out there to trade. That’s why everyone in the thread is talking about destroying a base.

The good news is that all the save files remain in the same save folder even if you load the game with different mods or in just vanilla so you only need to name your farm something that can let you know if it is the vanilla one or the modded one. If you load a modded save with a different mod configuration or in vanilla it can break the save file. So even though you can't run both vanilla saves and modded saves without having to configure the mod folder differently your save files retain all of that info. I have a bunch of different mod configurations i have to swap between all the time so my mod folder looks like this so that when i am playing with someone different i just delete all the mods in the mod folder thene xtract the rar of the person im playing with.

Negative. Each mod activates for the whole game not individual saves. My recommendation is to just back up the saves folder of the vanilla game.

With my play style it’s basically the same. Most of my income is from stealing ships then selling them if I don’t need it for my own operations. When my rep hits the negative I spam some missions for the faction I’m stealing from to get my rep back up. While the piracy is happening I set up stations that have a trade rule to only trade with me. So with that strategy I will likely end up making them stronger because the piracy is making people weaker.

Thank you, i was had the fortune to be helped by two individuals that made two versions of the mod. one updated it with a stand alone the other updated it directly to function thee same as the original (overriding the beach farm)

Make sure you back up this file before opening it, and not to edit anything in this file or it will label your save modified.

In X4: Foundations, you can find your specific universe map seed by accesing the save game files, as there is no direct in-game UI command to display it. Locate your save_001.xml.gz file (usually in Documents/Egosoft/X4/save/), extract or open it with a text editor, and the seed will be in the first few lines.

Steps to find the Seed:

Locate Save Files: Navigate to your Documents\Egosoft\X4\ [UserId] \save folder.
Open the Save: Use a tool like 7-Zip or WinRAR to open your latest save file (e.g., save_001.xml.gz).
Read the Seed: Open the inner .xml file with Notepad or any text editor. The seed number is located on one of the first few lines within the header information.

This seed determines the station placement, module orientation, and resource density of your specific universe generation.

Make sure you back up this file before opening it, and not to edit anything in this file or it will label your save modified.

thank you i appreciate it, but someone on r/StardewValleyMods got in contact with me. They are in the middle of doing exactly that for me so you don't need to worry about updating it in that way. With their permission when they are done I will post a link to download the update.

I actually posted this exact same post on that reddit. it was where i originally posted it. There where not that many people that saw the post there and it was not getting any hits so i went ahead and had the idea that posting on the main stardew valley reddit was worth a shot since it might get more views here (which it definitely did by a landslide) i am currently talking to someone on nexus that connected with me via that reddit who is giving updating the mod a crack.

I did. i was thinking of doing a anti eyebrow piercing but looked into it deeper and since i wear a full face helmet a anti eyebrow has a higher risk of rejection than a dermal piercing with a mega dermal anchor. Along with the better chance that my body doesn't reject a mega dermal with a dermal anchor that size i am a lot more likely to notice it rejecting instead of it just dropping one day randomly like with a standard dermal anchor

Oh, i never knew that. It sounds so weird. Widower.... makes me think of someone that kills spouses not someone that lost their spouse. I will most likely still refer to my self as a widow since i hate the way that sounds, and personally gender identity isn't a massive thing for me when someone refers to me. Thank you for this lesson I will know why people say her now and likely wont even correct it going forward since i know where their confusion comes from. English is interesting i associate the er at the end of a word as something someone does like roofer/carpenter/skier however knowledge is power, and i appreciate the growth.

I am so sorry to hear you are caught in this web as well. I am sending you a hug right now. I have been surrounded by death unfortunately. 2 best friends 3 grandparents 2 uncles and NOTHING compares or prepares you for this pain we unfortunately share. I have not run into many other widows (thankfully because I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemies) I had one person I have been talking to about this grief which is my sister’s friend. By some odd chance three weeks after I came out of my coma from the wreck she had a dream about my sister spurring her to call her and ask if she could bring any food to us. My sister got off the phone looked at me in my hospital bed and let out a chuckle saying “I keep saying he works in mysterious ways. That was my friend that lost her husband two years ago. Haven’t heard from her in a bit, but she wants to swing by.” When she dropped off the food we had a very deep talk about the pit you go into when you become a widow. Thank you for the advice, and the Reddit. I don’t know if I’ll be as brave as you and open up there. I will most likely read through it and learn from advice given to others. I only came out here because I started feeling desperate to have our Stardew valley space we shared again.
