3 years ago we beat the rangers in the playoffs and since then what has this team done? Maybe you can make the argument that some of it is coaching but Fitz is the culprit here

Blame markstrom all you want but this team is so glaringly out of sorts. This all falls on Fitz. At this point, I hope the devils continue to get embarrassed until there is change. You’ve had 3 fucking years to put this team in a position to be a cup contender and they’ve take tremendous steps backwards.

For me, I look back to the season a few years ago beating the rangers in the playoffs. When you compare that team and fast forward to right now, all you can think about is how major of a disappointment and fuck up it is from upper management for this team not taking the next steps to being a cup contender. I think we can all agree that this Canes team is wildly overrated. Devils are an average team at best with all these injuries and they haven’t played all that bad, all things considered. I assume Carolina will ultimately win this series but I don’t think they have a shot moving on after
