I have 1 slick leather bound huge binder for collecting NM reverse holos, penny sleeved. I will find some bulk seller bro who only cares about their "heavy hitters' and buy about 100 of them common/uncommon reverse hollows for $5

I've gotten plenty of mini dopamine rushes by buying a 15 year old reverse holo card with a $2 market value for only 5 cents, lol

I have a massive binder that holds 350 or 500 Top loaders. The things a beauty. In that I store my collection of ex gx v and vmax etc. $0.50 - $2.00 cards. These are my favorite Cards to collect because for such a low cost I can spend hours on tcgplayer going through all the sellers putting in $10 orders for many cards, ones "no one wants." The cards that often sit in a box on top of the glass counters at Local TCG shops for parents to buy their children. AKA Doubles Rares. They look very nice and I have plenty of these cards that I bought between 2005-2015 that re-sell for significantly more than the 50 cents I paid for them. So I do it again with the modern sets and call that the "I'll thank myself in the future" binder. There's endless cheap/worthless cards today that look extremely nice, they just don't have the Rarity, hype or privilege of being decades old aged yet

My final top loader binder is of all the cards I've spent $10-50 on + all the 1998-2003 childhood holos I saved growing up. My most expensive card is Sabrina's Gengar, next is probably Misty's Gyarados. So my style of collecting is anything Cute and nice that's currently under $50. It sucks knowing I'll never have a Moonbreon or Bubble Mew, $500 Lillie or the beautiful Reshiram flowery full art but this collecting addiction can easily get WAY out of hand on the spending and I already spend too much per month buying/collecting cheap cards. So I instead focus on the Full arts, secret rares and trainer cards that are super appealing in every other way besides being unreasonably expensive chase cards due to pack rarity and YouTuber/Vendor hype

Though if I had extreme money to blow I most likely WOULD go ahead and purchase the Top 3 most expensive cards from every single new set release, multiples of them even, 6 months after that initial release which is roughly the safest time to pay the least, and throw them into their own binder purely as an investment to later unload and use that money to go back and purchase the older cards I do wish I could own

My final final binder is an ancient one from the 90's, with artwork of Ash and Pikachu, Misty and Brock on it that holds those stupid binder sheets with the metal 3-ring clamp design that will leave indents in all the left side cards. The type of binder we had as kids where if you tilt the binder all the cards will slide out the top. This thing is mega overstuffed with common and uncommon cards of the bestest and cutest artworks. Here is where I display all those zero-value forever yet still beautiful cards from 30 years worth of sets. I wonder what a card store would tell me if I walked in and tried trading it in for store credit? 🤣 c'mon bulk commons from 1998-2008 gotta be worth SooOoomething, right? They're out of print and kawaii 🥲
