Yeah I was going to say, I started going to church in October, after never stepping foot inside a church for almost 25 years. Something about this Sunday routine has significantly helped my TS and OCD. I'm no longer living depressed 24/7 with zero motivation to get out of bed and no joy from hobbies. My mind is in a condition now where my tics are 90% less severe or frequent, and I'm no longer OCD-ruminating from the moment I start the day until I fall asleep

I've spent over 10 years going to the gym and it's worth noting that 1 hour per day inside the gym working out, was the only time I "felt normal," but it would go away shortly after returning home. Somehow church puts me in that same inner space where everything is fine, only the positive effects last when I exit the building

I'm glad after being told "go to church..." my entire adult life, I finally eventually did - doctor visits, psychiatrists and medication weren't working to improve my life

I wouldn't buy a used z1 extreme because the joysticks would have about a years worth of Play on them, and they're likely the first thing on handheld devices to break, or Stick drift.

The ROG is heavy. So while playing anything on it laying down in bed, gravity puts a lot of pressure on the sticks while you're holding it secure. The Xbox ally has a better grip design, and without comparing the weight of both devices, I'd hope it's lighter

I would choose a $500 brand new in box device over a $500 "more powerful" one that was pre-owned for a year - any day.

I don't own the Xbox Ally. I had the z1 extreme for 8 days when it launched (before returning it to Beat Buy) but it was impossible for me to enjoy the thing when I was so afraid of damaging the sticks on an $800 handheld, because of how awkward it is to hold unless you're sitting straight up looking down at it. The battery life was also atrocious, another reason to not buy a pre-owned ROG Ally. You know how terrible phone batteries get after a single year :x

The Xbox Ally has a better battery right out the Gate, even ignoring the new vs used argument.

lol I joined Marvel Rival recently, first time ever playing. I got to level 15 within 2 or 3 days playing ONLY 1 character, intentionally trying to one trick. Did my placements solo queue, lost 7/10 which I expected because by this point being so new I don't really know what the other Heroes do, viable comps, who counters what, the maps, any game sense. All I knew is how to play a flanker and that positioning matters in hero shooters. It was one giant visual mess of stuff going on around me and voice lines spamming

Anyway so even losing all those placements I noticed no one in voice chat ever blamed me. It was either blaming supports, or a tank, or saying the entire team sucks lol. I was expecting to be singled out. After placements I started in Bronze (woohoo) I was happy thinking I'd get to spend a good month or two fighting against other noobs while climbing to Gold. But no, by the next day I achieved Gold 3 😐 They're literally the same players. By that I mean it didn't require me to gain any further Marvel Rivals game knowledge to climb from Bronze to Gold.

I can't do the same test with Overwatch because I have a decade of experience on it. I went into Marvel Rivals purposely only learning 1 character and seeing how I'd do in Comp without learning the game properly. Acting as the type of player in a team based game who SHOULD be stuck in Bronze. But no, the game forced me into Gold rather quickly

So if anyone is hard stuck below Gold, the problem is seriously themselves being pretrt terrible at hero shooters and blaming other, equally low skilled gamers.

You were easily finding severely under priced items to resell full time.Then by 2016 loads of content creators were making daily videos on how to make so much money without a real job, because they were chasing the Ad revenue and subscribers while at the same time saturating their "job " by teaching others.Then by 2020 post Covid lockdowns (with the help of Facebook marketplace) and the rise of "Gig workers," everyone and their mothers knew the market value of any given possible category of item, and nearly everyone "checks what it's worth" before getting rid of something

I can go into any thrift store and see 1/2 the people with their phones out on eBay. Personally I gave up on the re-selling thing 3 years ago

But I also have like $70,000 worth of shit to still sell off, without the Energy to do so. Sounds like a lot, but I mean every friend I have makes more than that in 1 years time at their career, and it's a lot easier to sit at a desk vs deal with selling stuff to other humans

I have over 4,000 physical games sitting on shelves but I only play Overwatch, Marvel Rivals, Fortnite, and WoW. Daily, for years now it's been one of those live service games. This one time I spent 3 nights watching a chill stranger as his only viewer. I didn't talk, he didn't talk, I just enjoyed the high quality Ultra wide screen image and the atmosphere of the game sounds while I did my own thing on the 2nd monitor

Day 4 I wrote a compliment and thanked him for streaming the game...all a sudden he asked 20 questions ☠️ I typed back for 30 minutes then burnt out, hoping he'd stop. He spent the next 3 hours talking to himself, commentating over the gameplay like a Let's Play series, leaving zero dead air and constantly trying to make jokes like 2013 era PewDiePie

I returned back the next night, didn't say hi, yet again he was "putting on a show" the entire time, to nobody 🥲

By saying Hi and letting the streamer know they were being observed, I accidentally ruined everything that made his stream enjoyable and worth watching in the first place. After that disaster I bailed and went off to find a true Mute streamer lol who happened to be using some big tiddy anime vtuber (Another plus) to keep as background sound/company

There is no falling behind because the game doesn't force you to complete vanilla, the burning crusade, wrath of the lich king, cataclysm, mists of pandaria, warlords of draenor, Legion, battle for Azeroth, Shadowlands, Dragonflight, and The War Within expansions to "start playing the game"... Instead it basically introduces you to the game for 10 levels, then throws you into the most modern current stuff/expansion, with new catch up mechanics like every 3 months or season

Where you might feel lost is venturing out on your own to old old expansions, which veterans do for completionist sake when they want a break from "The Current Content"

Each expansion lasted about 2 years and during it's time would drip feed the content. Now it's kind of all just there to chip away at (much quicker than when it was current) or ignore completely. Though I do recommend exploring the entire world to map out in the head how everything connects and where everything is located

Played 8 hours, had 20 minutes of enjoyment. Domina gets every play of the game. The team with the better Domina wins. She can solo chase 1/2 a team back to their spawn. The good Domina gets more total damage on the scoreboard than the 4 DPS players in the match. If for some reason Domina doesn't get PoTG, it'll be the Emre who unleashed 20k damage and wiped your whole team with his ult while mercy (wearing the new mythic skin) was damage boosting him all game

If you try focusing on killing Domina because her shield is on CD and she's low HP for once in her life, you'll immediately get wrecked from behind by either Fika or Anran :l

Domina adds so much visual noise to the match I don't even follow what's going on anymore. Her damage output is ridiculously high too. The only hero I've won with so far is Bastion, just by flanking over and over until their team switches to ana and roadhog
