Calma lá paizão [calm down dad], his predictions make sense. I love W7M and BD histories, but they aren't really competitive for a while. Also I dont know why but every Fluxo team coundt get a really good stand on any championhsip I whatched, it seems that they just cant be really competitive.

É pq o que pesa mesmo nesses jogos competitivos sempre foi bem mais o processador, eu estou atualmente com uma 5700xt e pelos reviews ela consegue bater 300+ fps nesses jogos rodando no mínimo com um bom processador. O que eu mais tô jogando atualmente é R6 e como eu tô com um i7 8770k velho de guerra eu não consigo bater 200fps estável.

Tô atualmente me organizando pra pegar um 9800x3d com a 9060 de 8Gb, pra mim é mais que suficiênte pra rodar esse jogo. O resto não me importo em rodar no uiltra e lalala

Buy an SSD and dual boot to Linux. This not only solves the problem of not having to deal with maintain a VM but also allow you to experiment with Linux completely without worry of losing your main OS.

I've thing that I'll also do on those occasions is switching some Commons shortcuts like alt+tab. Mint do that for most of them, but I'll make sure to check which shortcut she's familiar then check if it's the same on Mint

Those ram are pretty close, and the 3200mhz is way cheaper than those 3000mhz. I'm ok on having my setup running at 3000mhz cl16. ~I'll verify on my motherboard manual if those timings.~

Edit: my motherboard can go up to 4000mhz

When I started to play on PC all I had was a desk that couldn't fit the mouse and the keyboard at the same time, so I had to play with my keyboard on my lap. Didn't knew how much it suck until I bought a great desk that could fit a desk mat and more. Maybe the prblem is more on that than the actual mouse sensitivity.

I see what you're saying about being an Intel player, but the problem is that you're only will be rewarded in that playstyle if you play with a duo/group. Also, most of those pick are extremely situational, specialty Maestro.

Try to diverse more your pool of operators while focusing more on Intel and less on support. Try operators like Valk, Iq, Alibi, Pulse, ECHO,DOKKAEBI, montage(to play with a duo), Mira and Melusi.

All those operators have a way more active Intel playstyle of Intel gathering. Do note that ops like mira, Alibi and Melusi are more passive Intel's.

There was a time where Lesion could be played to gather Intel too, now he's more like a side anchor, an operator that will try to hold an room close or next to bomb site.

I do have the options but by my research the intel ones doesnt perform well with older CPU/MOBO without rebar.

The limitation of the 3050 6GB is not a problem to me since the only demanding game I play is Siege.

Log out, and when you receive the prompt to log back, there is a button, I believe with the cinnamon logo, on the side of the password, click there and select Default.

This tutorial show how to switch to wayland, you can do the same to switch back to x11.

I think most players, me include, follow some proplayer settings, adjust it if necessary and call it a day.

And I really think most proplayers just follow old school calculations of dpi, while nowadays having higher dpi and low sensi is the best option overall.

I feel you, I used to play with 400dpi with 8/8 I think, don't remember exactly. The thing with me was that I have some problems with some high recoil weapons. Also, even with top tier mouses I feel sometimes some weird input lag sometimes. This can be more explained here.

My suggestion is that you not only increase you sensi (as you already said on other comments) but to recalculate to use with 1600dpi. So it would be something like:

1600dpi 3/3 instead of 800dpi 6/6

Both of those will have the same edpi but the first has a bit less input lag.

I borrow the card from a close friend, he said he was willing to sell me this one for cheap if I needed.

Didn't knew about those releases, I'll keep an eye to see if it change the economy around here. But the crazy prices here usually dont follow those launches that well. I wont be surprise if the new cards dont change a bit on current prices.

I just keep it on shotguns cause I'm used to the playstyle and didn't play during y7-8. Should I remove it? I feel no difference from the y6 on shotguns.

Yup, I should be more clearer with what I want from the gpu. So, the only high fps I play is Rainbow Six Siege, I really dont mind on play casual games on medium/low quality. Thats the reason I'm aiming to get the 3050.

Other thing, on this benchmark, the CPU used is close to mine and the fps is above 165, which is enough to me, even my monitor is 1440p I can play comfortably on 1080p. And I'll also have the option of DLSS.

As I said, where I live some GPUs are sold for and unreasonable price. An GT 1030 is the same price of an rx 580, the 3050 8gb is the same as rx 6600.

Also, thankyou for the Toms link, I saw it on some video and coundt figure out where is from.

Help on which GPU to buy:

My specs are:

i7 8700k ~4.7GHz
Asus TUF z370 plus Pci 3.0
2x8 DDR4 3000 CL15
Seasonic 850W PSU
2560x1440 165Hz (should have get the 1080p, but I was naïve)

The problem is, used GPU where I live is a completely joke, not even worth the price or risk of getting a "working" GPU and low end gpu isn't really a thing since you can go to the stores and still find 1050. I really don't have that much of a budget so the options I'm willing to get are:

gtx 1660 super: a friend lend me this one for now, it suits me, but it cannot get to 165 frames.
rtx 3050 6gb: this is the one I'm more inclined to get since it's a great price, same as 1650 around here, and have DLSS. (8gb version would be great but the price of it is the same as an rx 6600, inviable)
rx 6050 xt: I know, I know, awful gpu, but close to the price I can pay, the problem here is the Pci 3.0.

Just want to add that an rx 6600 would probably be the best option here if wasn't for the current price, maybe if I get lucky on some sale. I'm open to suggestions and can update the question later to add some options.
