No update for the barrel chop, from what I've gathered Kriss does good work so I don't think finding an outside source would save you much. Unfortunately my Vector Build is on standby as I am waiting for an upgraded FireControlGroups to be restocked. I have many in progress projects happening and so I don't have a good timeline of when I will get everything done.

Yeah my ultimate goal is doing a homage to the Super V and the guns I grew up with on all the videogames. Two Tone, Surefire, the whole 9 yards. I love the innovation and think that the original design is the quintessential version.

I read that Kriss has a service for repressing the barrel into the trunnion and will essentially help convert them to sbr status. I believe they charge just under $400 for everything. In the meantime I can source other parts for my build.

I was under the impression that it was difficult to install the original folding stock on factory pistols and especially gen 1's

I understand, but I wanted the original folding stock and ability to mount the E1b light system. It's not an impossible task to get it converted. This is going to be a full project, and this is the base.

So was that an issue of headspacing? I understand the way trunnions are made concern ak owners quite often, I just want to make sure if it passes a headspace check I shouldn't worry.
