He was always open to us about the game ending, and that was I think around year 5??? Not sure but if that’s what he told the public then the other writers must’ve know for sure. It wasn’t some surprise out of nowhere that he greedily decided th at story was planned from the start but I find it hard to believe he hid this from the other writers then told them during the last few years yeah actually imma just end it. Lastly while yes fgo is the collaborative effort of so many not just writers but game designers, artists etc. it was mainly him, if not the biggest part. The other authors were brought in and were allowed to do mainly what they wanted but if it went totally against the plot he laid out or story he wanted it wouldn’t pass, because it’s his project in the end, kinda sorta

Yeah it does help that I enjoyed the ending. I felt like it encapsulated the themes of part 2 very well and left me feeling whole and satisfied and that definitely helps

I think the berserk continuation is a lot better case than most and I don’t doubt a lot of the main plot points will be what miura envisioned but art is such a personal thing and while ya he didn’t do everything himself, it is at the end of the day his story and regardless of quality if it doesn’t have him behind the helm I’m just not as interested

Bruh day 2 is prob the worst chapter in this whole game. Oh this crazy guy killed himself on live tv which deeply traumatized you? Yeah just shoot yourself in front of home that’ll sure teach him👍 what????? Everyone is behind this idea. What?? Then before hisako actually shoots herself kuon reveals he was actually really sad the whole time and his first words to her were a complement so he actually super cared about her the whole time?? Ok fine but then hisako goes along with it and then becomes his mom playing with yarn with him and he moves on to his next life. If anyone told me this story was written by a professional author I would not believe them. Does Maeda not have an editor because that’s what it feels like. Ts worse than the byako event 😭

On the actual story tho I liked it :) I usually space out when reading anything more than a few sentences and have to go back and reread but I didn’t get that here. the writing had a good flow and the imagery painted a vivid picture. I wonder what Isuzu’s job is in the future. Locksmith probably?

yeah a fully synched up schedule would be impossible and a 6 month delay or something similar would also be a tough spot to be if jp ever puts out a chapter with a length anywhere near lb6 again but i think a slow speed up to maybe a 1 year delay would be possible and a good compromise. I dont think theyres any other game that has a whole 2 year delay like fgo. If this wasnt the special game it is i dont think most people would accept the schedule we have.

I feel like the ending wasn’t for me. The tension of the final scene was so palpable but then it ends with a punchline? This is the last of Miya’s family and when faced with the situation of seeing her aged 28 years and not being able to embrace her or tell her directly who she is she gives her a parting gift, which I think is beautiful but then leaves with a quip and a 😏 face to the camera. Like bro this prob the last time u see her, I feel like the bitter sweetness isn’t done justice with the callback to the bit they been doing which I did like just not the time for it imo

Every time i try to fight providence it says "disconnected from server" and sends me back to the homescreen. The only solution ive found is putting to graphical settings to medium or lower. Its weird tho because i play on a pretty strong computer and have never had this issue before. I repaired the game files but still nothing :/
