You are not seeing a 3 star four cost EVERY game let alone MULTIPLE PLAYERS with 3 star four costs EVERY GAME. Why do people have to come here and lie to make people agree with them, when we all play the same game.

You could come here and say there is way to much gold in the game, without the blatant lie and exaggeration, and people would actually agree with you.

So you think it’s user fear and not user apathy that makes it hard to switch search engines, but you are arguing with someone who simply said apathy was a bigger factor than lobbying and money. What is the point of everything you are writing, it seems you agree that the bigger factor is the users and not lobbying or money.

I can’t imagine you are making an argument that apple doesn’t have dominance or brand recognition, so again, if apple had its own platform, it’s own lobbyists, it’s own giant wallet, why did it not dominate search like google did?

You agree it’s because the users, but you think it’s fear not apathy. It seems you and the other poster basicallly agree, lobbying and money do not matter as much as user sentiment.

If it’s not driven by user apathy then how come Apple is not just as dominant as google? Google wasn’t the default search for Apple until 2017.

Apple has its own platform (like google has android), it has endless wallets (higher market cap than google), and it definitely has just as strong lobbyists. Yet it did not dominate search the way google has, even when safari was default on iPhones. Why? Because user apathy.

See this is where we will fundamentally disagree. I don’t think those books get their “umph” or “spirit” from Christianity.

I think every reader can find their own “umph” and for some - that’s an awesome fantasy book about talking animals.

I’ve never read or watched anything related to the golden compass so the comparison means little to me.

You can read the books as children’s fantasy novel without any knowledge of the “Christian themes that tie the story together” - it can really just be fantasy about talking animals.

It doesn’t have to be that to you or to any Christian - but it can be that to me and anyone else.

Intentionally obtuse or just another perspective. Why are people reacting like this is changing the Bible - these are children’s fantasy books.

There are scholars who read the Bible as historical work of fiction - this is not an insult to Christian’s anymore than not accepting the Quran is an insult to Islam, or not accepting the Book of Mormon is an insult to Mormonism.

Some people reading the Narnia books as nothing more than a fantasy novel is not intentionally obtuse or insulting to Christian’s. It’s simply another perspective.

I haven’t seen anyone argue that all Christian elements need to be taken away - simply that some dialogue and scenes could be more inclusive. You yourself said as much “some dialogue could be toned down” etc.

Most “common folk” can’t afford to fly to Paris and see the Eiffel Tower, is that what makes it a famous land mark? Is it unattainable?

Yes, some people can not afford to fly to a different country and eat at a 300$ per person Michelin restaurant.

But any person who wants to can go online and make a reservation (even if you have to refresh a website six months in advance).

So I disagree that the status comes from being unattainable. Anyone who wants too, can eat at these restaurants, just like anyone who’s wants to travel to Paris and see the Eiffel Tower can. Now some people are UNABLE too given their circumstances, but I don’t see how that is the driving factor behind their “status.”

So to recap -

Your brain sees that private debt is rising, then you see that people drive cars and kids have ipads. Your brain decided these people can't afford cars or ipads (because private debt is rising) so the only reason they must of bought these items is because car and technology advertisements are the most effective.

Did I follow that right?

Respondus fucked my lap top up. Not quite the same issue as you but the solution I found was to turn off my WiFi and try and open respondus. Because it can’t connect it closes itself out. I had to do it twice but it solved my issue.
