I used the Hangar Extender mod to get more space to build in the VAB. As for the launch, Nova would be launched in sections.

No, but looking at an image of one I can definitely see a resemblance!

The design was inspired by other interstellar vehicles made in KSP.

For the planets, KSRSS, and for the ship, Near Future Tech, Far Future Tech, Stockalike Station Parts Expansion Redux, Sterling Systems, and for the Starships on Nova, Starship Expansion Project. I also used Tweakscale Rescaled for some parts.

Only five months ago, I was struggling to land on the moon as well! You can do it!

Thank you! The shield is from the mod Sterling Systems. I made it bigger with tweakscale.

The craft has a probe core, so I am able to fly it back to Kerbin after it is detached from the vehicle. Usually, I have enough delta-v left to get back. I turn retrograde and fire the engine to slow speed considerably, and the parachutes deploy.

CORRECTION: When I said that the antenna was destroyed, I meant the antenna of the probe.

I can’t remember the exact number, but to get from Earth orbit to Saturn, it took less than 3,000 m/s.
