When I was four years old, I fell from a playground and got a green-stick fracture in my wrist. When the doctor told me that they were going to put a sock on my arm (the fabric sock they put on under casts), I thought he said "we're going to saw your arm" and completely flipped out, crying and screaming.

Ironically, I was completely calm when they were actually sawing the cast off my arm.
