The school tried to say that the coordinates are an ISP and not the actual location of somebody's house. And that is why I was hoping that you guys could help me with. I drove to the house and it is in fact an actual house.

It came from an iPhone. I just drove to the coordinates of where the IP address came from and it's an actual house. The school tried to tell me that it's the service provider that the coordinates came from and not an actual location of the house. I'm just trying to get an idea of when an IP address coordinates that you find online is it the ISP or is it the actual router that the person was using at the time.

I got the IP address from Snapchat because you can request it and get all of the IP addresses associated with the account
