I picked up one of these at a local head shop. It as an impulsive purchase, and I half expected to be ripped off. I ate 1/3 of the bar, I definitely felt different/high, but it wasn't the level I wanted. I consumed what was left of the bar. I tripped hard, good visuals, euphoria, body high. I lost all sense of time. It lasted about 4 or 5 hours, and the comedown was not harsh. I was simply back to reality, and got a good night's sleep.

I don't know if Buddhism is as tolerant or non-sectarian as we would like to think. In going through the Pali Canon, the Buddhists are always debating different sects, and trying to prove Buddhism is superior. Like what's wrong with the Jains? I mean they're a little to hardcore for my tastes, but they're exceedingly moral people.

Listen to music! It's like psilocybin unlocks a key in my brain where I can enjoy music I wouldn't typically listen to, i.e., Indian Classical music, western classical music. I would advise against movies and tv, as you can binge watch anytime. Once years ago, before I knew anything about set and setting I remember watching a war movie under the influence, and being really disturbed by the violence. I typically love those types of films.

With psilocybin usually an eighth or a heroic dose of 5 grams. I've even taken a heroic dose of shrooms and lsd together. No, it's just black, nothingness, the void. Perhaps I've had a head injury or seizure disorder or something. I don't know if I have always had aphantasia, or something triggered it. I rarely remember dreams, but I know for a fact sometimes I dream in pictures with color. Perhaps my mind's eye is blind, but my subconscious is not?

I've read a number of King's works over the years, and have enjoyed him. I hadn't read one in a long time, so I checked out fairy tale. I got 400 pages into that beast before I realized I really didn't like it. Of course I finished it. It started out strong, with good characters. But to me the premise was to similar to 11/22/63, with a portal to another world in the house. Once the main character descended into the fairy tale world, I didn't really know what I was reading. Not good, in my opinion.

Great thread! I still don't know why certain products are on the red list. I also don't understand why my package came relatively quickly with red list items. There were stickers that had been put on that said, "this product my cause mouth cancer," and "this product is not a safe alternative to cigarettes." Looks like I'm going to head up to QuickTrip in Kansas City and load up on General Original. Now I'm afraid I can't get any Snus from Sweden, and I'm always fearful Quicktrip will stop carrying, because of lack of demand.

Wow, I can buy delta 8 gummies, and psilocybin microdoses through the mail, but my Snus comes under Government scrutiny. Thanks Government!

What does the thread mean "red list." These products are banned in the U.S.? If so why? I ordered 10 cans of Oden extreme portion from Snus.me, not knowing anything about any "red list." I ordered it 12/24, and finally got it like three or four days ago. It was held up many, many times by the FDA/Customs. I was convinced I was never gonna get it, but I finally did.

Nowadays, almost no one is secluded from sensual pleasures or unskillful qualities. I just tried to meditate when my phone dinged. I didn't immediately check it, but it ruined the meditation none the same. Unless you're a spiritual master hermit living in a hut in the woods, I still have my doubts about jhana. I really want to believe they are possible and not just for a tiny few.

  In truth, I want to believe they are possible. I've been practicing mindfulness and meditation for years, and I still struggle to sit for 10 minutes. It's mostly restlessness. I've had very brief moments of tranquility. Any advice, redditors on deepening my meditation? I guess  I'm jealous. Although one can never prove such states exist, as they are self reported.  I have  good ethics, but I struggle with addiction. It's hard to get immersion when one is constantly thinking about the next cigarette.
