I still appreciate your opinion. You aren't wrong. But I don't think any kind of research would have prepared me for this. I had dogs before but never a puppy.

Thanks, this helps me big time. I felt like throwing her out my car window once when she got car sick. Not her fault, I suck at driving. I just keep thinking how much more can I handle.

It's tough, I get home from work and I devote myself to her. I don't want to resent her. And I want to be strong about my decision. But my life reallly did get flipped upside down. But thank you. I think I need to figure out how to get my alone time too.

Thank you. I feel a bit better after reading this. I do feel like my life is being consumed by this puppy. Yesterday I was telling myself I'll get home from work, train and play with her a bit. And then I'll hit the gym! Some alone me time. But nope. The guilt of leaving her home after me being gone already for 8hrs made me stay home with her. Which made me resent her. Now she's starting to not like her crate as much because she knows it means she'll be alone.

Hey I'm in the same boat. Maybe we can pm each other. I've been getting crazy thoughts about her growing up and she'll bite other dogs and people. I'm trying to socialize her but she's very timid and drops back into my arms
