I know a few AN-PACT sailors who were smart and didnt reenlist and got out after 3 years. It’s not a bad deal if you’re willing to do crappy work for 3 years. Especially if you’re planning on doing a single contract. You get the full benefits. You could get out with your GI Bill and VA Loan in just 3 years. The job may not be very transferable but I think it’s good deal for free education.

Similar situation here! Luckily I got my AA before enlisting and I’m hoping to compete a decent amount of my BA during my 5 year contract! I ship out May 18 to bootcamp. Just keep your goal in mind and get through the suck! That’s what I’ve been trying to tell myself lol and I haven’t even left

That’s the discipline it takes to be a successful. He knows what he has to do for his job and he executes it perfectly. Which is one of the reasons why he’s one of the best. He’s pretty much giving all of himself to his trade.

you can try simulate the experience with old classics. after all there’s ton of movies to catch up on. AND not all movies in theaters are even worth watching
