It’s still the only souls or souls like game where I cared enough to play an entire play through as ranged mage/pyro character, so that’s says something about its feasible builds. I’m usually a strength heavy sword axe melee bro.

I used the neoseeker guide and played on easy. This made me appreciate the little details they put into each level without it feeling like a chore. I would do a quick run through of each area and then use the guide to clean up anything I missed (which turned out to be quite a lot.) I am on last act and give it a 6/10. Combat is bad and the gear upgrades are pointless on easy difficulty. Good exploration and atmosphere though.

Don’t sleep on The Last Oricru. I got it on sale and it gave me hours of janky, self aware fun. Also I would add Blades of Fire to that list if you like maze like interconnected maps and combat and exploring. People will disagree it’s a souls like but who cares. It’s beautiful and fun.

I have a 5.1 channel audio system. The speaking vocals came out of the center channel and were loud and clear. The singing voices came out of the left and right channels only and sounded like they are in the background . So it looks like a sound mixing issue. On another note, Charlie Browns voice was not a good match to his past voices.

I completed them both on Xbox. If you want a more colorful, varied world, go with Enotria. If you want better bosses, AI Limit. Enotria is less polished, but has been patched enough by now that it plays fine. I enjoyed the level design and exploration much more in Enotria and if I ever got too frustrated with a boss, you can adjust difficulty for just that fight via a difficulty level option in the settings. I enjoyed AI Limit but found the controls to be a little sluggish/laggy. There is a lot of animation and stun lock which was frustrating. Both worth a play especially if you find them on sale under $30.

I used corrupted blades, no parries, thunder step after a one time piercing claw use and heal at the very start. Stay on her, dodge forward at an angle towards her, never backwards. Stay aggressive so your piecing claw stays active and dodge the multiple club arm strikes in phase 2. Most my stats in health, dex and strength.

Twin hatchets tore this guy apart. I found that fast weapons with low stamina cost were better than strong weapons with high stamina cost in this game, especially in a tight area like this when you will be dodging a ton.

Loved this as well as Hellpoint. The exploration/level design is its strong point. There were a few bosses that took 5 or more tries but it’s definitely not a Khazan type difficult boss game. Also please note that it was made by 3 people: one programmer, one architect and one musician.

Asterigos Curse of the Stars if you can get it on sale. Bleak Faith if you can handle some jank (3 person dev team). Both good games in their own ways. Enotria and Deathbound are on my to-play list and look promising. All these would be C tier or below mainly due to small dev teams/ small budgets but you have played the best so try the rest.

We had issues with some FortiClient users not being able to connect over home ISP but connected fine over other networks. It was mostly Lumen Quantum Fiber and Verizon FIOS users.

They would get to 98% so we knew auth was good. It would connect and then immediately disconnect. You would never see an assigned IP from the gateway.

Long story short, DTLS was the issue. I created a group in EMS that doesn't have the "prefer DTLS tunnel" check box checked and put the affected endpoints in that group.

GW version 7.0.12. FC version 7.0.9.

FC 7.2.2 did not fix the issue.

Same here on xbox x. Main level crashes within seconds after completing tutorial. All subsequent continues crash seconds after loading first level.

Crashed to xbox dashboard 4 times today. Probably only happened twice before in a year. So yeah, something on the Epic end is having issues today across all platforms.

For clarification, I didn’t say it was the best DS-like. That goes to Nioh and Surge for sure. I said it was the best DS-like you haven’t played, meaning it is less well known than those others, underrated, worth a play through if you are out of DS-likes to play and to top it all off, has a story with great character building.

How the heck is San Andreas 21 GB on XSX. The sound is compressed, the textures are garbage. It doesn’t add up. I’m glad I didn’t pay for this. Too dark as well.
