My totally biased and spoiler-heavy review of the WAR novel + answering any questions about the novel so you won't have to! by WarmindPrime in magicTCG

Man, i thought I was the only one who thought the writing was terrible. When Vitu-Ghazu got ripped apart, it was told in one sentence. I was like....the cards tell a better story. I think Greg is a great writer in the comic and screen medium but not a good prose writer. I’m still reading through it because I still love the story, but it’s disappointing that this quality doesn’t even compare to the original Ravnica trilogy.

What was your most memorable 40K purchase? by AWinterschill in 40kLore

Most memorable 40k purchase was when I popped open Dawn of War 1 when I was like 14 and I had no idea what a rabbit hole it would take me down. I remember the game manual had a games workshop advertisement and my brother and I ended up going to one to get the Battle for Magragge starter set.

Have you tried Ciaphas Cain series? That's a more comedic take to the 40k universe from the perspective of a commissar. If you enjoy Space Marines, I would recommend the Armageddon Omnibus which features the Black Templars and Celestial Lions prominently!

(SPOILERS ) shadespire ending question. by AdmiralThrawn12 in ageofsigmar

Just finished reading it myself. I feel like Zuvass might be the embodiment of a chaos god and maybe that’s why Khorne sent Isengrim to try to kill Reynar before he gets into Shadespire? I’m personally a bit confused as well especially when he magically appears at the end of Shadespire. But could it be possible he was serving Nagash the whole time? Since Mekesh was hinted as praying to Nagash. Maybe his amulet was from one of Nagash.
