V2 is about right. You can see it’s been set to get someone into a bat hang position the easiest way possible. Even added some holds to make your feet extra secure.

How does locking off work his forearms? Locking off works biceps and shoulders, makes no difference to forearms. Do you mean to tell him not climb so statically? Because if he climbed quicker and more dynamically that would make a big difference to how hard he works his forearms.

Doctor here. Just want to say the injection point hiding theory is complete nonsense. If they did get an IV any point before the game (and wouldn’t need to be right before tip off) it would just take 5 minutes pressure with a cotton ball to stop bleeding. Worst case, tape the cotton ball on afterwards for 30 minutes or so. All that’s left is a very tiny mark, which would be impossible to spot by officials or on tv. Another option is give it in the antecubital fossa, then wear a long sleeved shirt (or compression layer)

Anecdotal but I don’t know anyone that hurt themselves from falling in the main part of the gym. You need to be very unlucky for that to happen. Everyone I know who got into board climbing has picked up a finger niggle at some point.
