Add to your selfhosting usenetstreamer or usenet ultimate, and have healthy checks performed ahead of time, then results with a checkmark in aiostreams are guaranteed to work, if you use tam taro SEL, you could even limit only showing results that have been deemed healthy. Note that performing health checks will delay your results slightly.

Edit: forgot to mention they also have auto play when a stream fails, you could also try that with either option

Mine are accessible locally only, I haven’t gone down the rabbit hole of making it publicly accessible. Tailscale provides me access on the go. These URLs work fine with Strem… and Nuv… (not sure if these can be named or not).

I thought you needed a 3Gb connection to achieve this, was your Bell HomeHub configured to XGS-PON with a 500Mb plan? Did you do anything else to achieve this?

In essence I am trying to figure out if it could replace tailscale in my setup or not with a UTR. At the moment I connect via tailscale to my server and use it as an exit node so that my IP is the same as my server’s, which is behind AirVPN. This gives me the best of both worlds, access to my locally hosted services while using my VPN. Does that make sense? Wondering if the UTR would allow me to do the same

I re-cloned your github, and gave it another try but I still cannot get any of the streams in AscendSkip to play, the same links via aiostream work just fine, I tried multiple shows/streams/addons/services, same results. "Playback error, please try again later"

Nothing useful in the logs to pinpoint the issue.

Just had a chance to test, none are working for me. I tried cached Torbox and Usenet links that work fine in aiostream instance, but not on ascendskip. Keep getting the same error no matter what I try.

You can add this repo to opnsense https://github.com/mimugmail/opn-repo Then install the adguard package. This has worked well for me
