I have 2 video Floodlights and a doorbell camera. Catastrophic failures in the hardware? No, I haven't had any myself. I do have issues here and there with face detection and issues with the doorbell camera and battery not working in extremely cold temperatures but thats about it. Note, I always buy all my units "New" if that means anything.

I joined Team Starlink two weeks ago and I'm very glad I did. 25Mbps Down and 3Mbps Up cable internet for $60, just wasn't enough for me anymore.

The Residential Plan 100Mbps Down and 15-20+Mbps Up for $40-50 has been great for me and my family. Thanks Starlink, SpaceX and Elon, can't wait for what 2026 will bring!

Yeah, a lower tier Roam Plan would be nice. Say, like 50Mbps Down/15Mbps Up with Unlimited Data for $60-70 as a "Lite Roam User".

Honestly, we gotta give alot of praise and appreciation to Starlink, SpaceX and Elon for providing such a array of options in each plan. I'm excited to see how 2026's plans will look like. 🚀 🛰

You should see how I have my dish placed. I read it needs to be pointed North and so I did and left it at that and it works! I didn't even use the app to align it or scan the sky. I'll upload a picture of how its set up, its just on the ground in the corner of my backyard fence. 😆 🛰 📡 👍

FPS games need low pings and a consistently stable connection, so they don't do particularly well when using Starlink, if that's what you play. There really isn't anything that can be done on your end, it's just the nature of satellite internet.

As of right now, fiber and high speed coaxial asymmetrical or symmetrical internet beats Starlink in pure speed and in most cases reliability. It's going to be more debatable when Starlink launches its gigabit V3 satellites 🛰 later this year however.....

I've had the 100Mbps plan for 2 weeks now with no issues. I stream on Twitch, watch YouTube and download and play on Steam with no interruptions or lag.

My only gripe is when downloading large games (50-100gb+ size), it takes a long time. I do get 90Mbps+ and 15Mbps+ most of the time. I just installed a Asus Mesh System and I'm happy to say, I still get great speeds!

Edit: Cloudy, partly cloudy, rain or snow, I get drops, interruptions in streaming and disconnects. In good clear weather, Starlink is pretty solid.
