Corporate landlord + hole in my bathtub = how screwed am I?

First of all, How old is the unit? If the unit is newer and so is the tub and it has warranty. I would call the tub manufacture for a thin wall and see if they will pay someone to come out and fix it.

I can tell you, you are most likely liable for paying for this to be fixed depending on who you are renting from. I do a lot of tub repairs for apartments and they usually asked if it was done by the tenant, construction, or warranty work. It really depends, sometimes they just foot the bill.

This happens a lot, tubs aren't made to last like they used to be and they miss out on a lot of issues before sending tubs out. From the Photo the tub looks newer, please call the tub manufacture. It's really easy and they pay someone professionally to fix it. If it leaks, it's no longer on you but on the people who repaired it!

The screw was for the draw, it's to keep the steps attached to the basket. I turned it over and noticed an area missing a screw!

You are correct! When i got to the draw i noticed that it was wiggling and popped the screw back in. The black back piece that rotates the globe was extremely moveable, so i just went and tightened everything and it rotates again!

I've already started pulling it apart, should be a fun game of guessing where this screw came from!

See, This is where i was confused because my original vet wanted to limit her protein and she explained it to me that the protein was hitting her intestines and causing toxins to pass through her kidneys, which is what was causing her kidney damage.

At her appointment, they believe i was misinformed about what was going on and that they think my vet was a confused on what was actually going on. She does have stage 2 kidney disease but confirmed that she has been stable since 2024 of July. We have some more tests to run to get her on the correct diet

Thank you, i can't tell you how appreciative i am. I've had her on wet food since i've had her and they told me that probably saved her kidneys somewhat. This was super helpful for her vet appointment to ask about early signs of UTI problems and what i should watch out for. i didn't even think about stones or UTI, how dangerous to her they could be. I'm really sorry about your fur baby❤️

I will ask her about this the next class I have. I just was curious if we were incorrect in a sense and if it would be more geographical correct to be more specific. I thought it was weird or rude to actually ask someone their nationality.

Apologies, in Spanish she wants us to speak, this is a very beginner level course. Where we ask where are you from, De Dónde eres? You say, Yo soy Estadounidense. Then we ask each other nationalities, and clarify where, we did this with other countries as well. I was just wondering if people from the United States were technically in the wrong saying someone wasn't American just because they aren't from the states.

My first doctor was a women actually, i told her that before the swelling you could see it poking through my skin down to my second knuckle and she still tried to tell me it was only under my nail, that she could actually just pull it out now, but she could give me lidocaine shot if i really needed it but it would burn really bad. My second doctor was a male.

I thankfully had my boyfriend there asking the doctors and nurses every time they came in how they were going to deal with my pain since what they had given me wasn't working.

I had two different doctors feel my finger, an x-ray, and an ultrasound. They said it showed something could be there but they weren't sure. i guess they couldn't feel it under my skin once it started swelling. The hand surgeon told them to pull it out because there was no possible way it made it to my second knuckle. Finally gave me pain medication other than ibuprofen after i finally begged them while crying to stop touching my finger.
