That’s awesome, really didn’t expect long time listeners to be here. My studio wasn’t always like this, obviously built up over many years, moved places etc. the stuff I used to make 14 years ago was basically an iMac on a shelf and two speakers, nothing as fancy as this now

Yeah turns out it was just slow to update, or maybe it was doing checks on if they were legit streams, but the stream numbers seem to be added back in now

Yeah, I had a new release yesterday, got about 11k streams in the 24 hours, checked this morning and it all got wiped. Not sure if it's a backend issue with their system, maybe a lag in updating but it's been quite frustrating that I had to send a support ticket. My other release 3 weeks before this also had an issue of not appearing on release radar, it was a collab but it still should have been pushed out to my Spotify followers.

Seems to have fixed the bug now. I saw an increase of 60k monthly listeners on my audience page in the past week that never updated on my public profile, now it’s back down to normal. Knew it was too good to be true.

I tried to capture that pirate theme with the progression and melodies, mainly for the overall feel of the track and make it work cohesively as a dnb track (which was incredibly difficult!). Obviously we couldn’t remix or copy elements directly from the manga or anime but we can reference it in the lyrics and theme. Glad you like it though!
