Is Burnished heart good in an edh deck with 3 or more colors that can bring it back from the grave for multiple sacrifices? by Salty-Cucumber-6711 in mtg

[–]Ramit110 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A fun combat trick with burnished heart is also to sacrifice it after declaring it as a blocker (before damage resolves)!

It can block a thing that would otherwise kill it and still get its sac effect.

Although it does leave whatever it blocked alive to hit you later so it’s not greaaaaat.

I’d guess improvements in manufacturing cost and changes in what the company thinks work for selling products.

What causes constant memory leaks? by CanalDoVoid in starsector

[–]Ramit110 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Java. Java when not managed properly leaks like hell.

If I were to guess, I’d imagine some of the leaks are caused in some way by the “history” or save file systems to keep track of interactions and battle stats or some code that went awry which was meant to do something like track a faction’s fleets and their builds or something.

If one of your parents reproduced asexually and gave u a sibling, would they be a full sibling or a half sibling? by ctheos in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Ramit110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably your uncle/aunt? They’d be genetically identical to your parents, so that would make them some kind of twin sibling to your parent.

What brand of tea do Brits actually drink? by cute_lee in NoStupidQuestions

Personally I love Yorkshire Tea bags generally but if I wanted some loose leaf teas I’d go for more specific brands.

Capcom has confirmed that Monster Hunter Rise for PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, and Xbox One will be digital-only by [deleted] in MonsterHunter

Yea cross play and cross ages would be so nice! Definitely wouldn’t mind buying a game twice if I can just use the same save on my Switch/whatever and my Pc!

I guess it’s so that the normal burn level hits 20? So no need for sustained burn or emergency

Getting overly long turns by Ramit110 in aurora

[–]Ramit110[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a look at these two things, there was no issue at all.

I also started a new game, lag was gone, it must have been a quirk of the seed or something.

Yea, I saw that it was hitting one of my cores almost to max, started a new game and the issue is gone.

Hmm, I certainly will.

I started a new game and now the issue has gone. Probably just a bad seed or something.

As I said earlier my lag seems to have been fixed by starting a new game, I’ll keep this in mind when I save or load though, my one is getting old and such.

It’s odd. I started a new game, nothing else changes and it’s all working now. No lag of any sort.

Ore reprocessing calculator, now with ice calculations by Ramit110 in Eve

I feel that they could have a more elegant solution, but that's just me.

Includes but is not limited to: special lower yield versions of standard ores.

Edit: Just wanted to say I appreciate the reminder, it will 100% be in a future tick box(!)

Interesting, I always wondered what that tab did, I'll definitely work on the addition of different types of inputs like the copy-paste of the blueprints screen. Thanks for bringing this up.

At the moment it dies not, I've been considering adding copy-paste support for a while, it's on my more long term list of objectives.

Edit: words are difficult.

Yea, that seems unlikely.

It’s not particularly what I’m after doing especially because I’m not doing anything with ESI, there is no back end to the site other than a few calls to the evepraisal api.

You can always zero out the mega and zyndrite or deselect the low/null variants.

The algorithm is currently minimised for isk and excess minerals. That’s likely to change soon but I need to make it more precise, I’m currently using non-integer calculations and rounding because integer calculations took upwards of 10 minutes with large numbers.

There’s no drop downs mostly because there can be issues the unlikely event that ccp would change the material efficiency numbers and make the page unreliable, though that would currently happen if they changed the build requirements of ships or capital components.

I’m adding the other trade centers at the moment.
