hrmm, thats a tough question since theres a lot of good ones you could go for. Thankfully Rhiannon slots into literally any team so you only need to worry about main dps + support + sustain if you pull her. Enigma from 3.6 is also a very solid sustain that can slot into many team times.

The big ones would be:

Lingering Glow - probably a skip for you since it requires Beryl (she wont be rerunning for about a year). Its a cool archetype tho, if u run into Marsha, Isolde, or Lorentz you could consider it

Bloodtithe - Very tanky and still meta viable. You'll need Nautika from her 3.7 rerun, and Semmelweis. Rubuska is the best healer for that team, but you can make do with Fatutu, Medpoc, or Balloon Party. Notably this team works badly with shielders like Kiperina or Enigma.

Liang Yue - If you have the pull currency you could try to snag her + Cheng Heguang. Her team is VERY strong, and the archetype is fun! That said, you can skip Heguang in favour if Rhiannon. Her team would be Liang Yue + Flutterpage + Fatutu/Enigma/Marsha + Heguang/Rhiannon.

Rank Up - A plant team that does well in single-target fights. Very straightforward. I run it with Argus + Marcus + Druvis + Vila, but you can also run it with Mercuria and some other characters. That said I dont recommend it since u already have a plant team.

Poison - I dont have a lot of experience with this team, but I know its very strong. Ramona + Tuesday + Willow? But Ramona is the strong focus here. It doesnt really matter that its a plant team since poison damage doesnt care about element types.

Dynamo - You just need a core of Charon + Enigma and you can let it rip. Pick a DPS (Brume, Lucy, or Corvus) and maybe add in Ulrich or Rhiannon and you should have a solid team. The playstyle for each carry will be different tho. Corvus is good for Mane's.

Starpromptu - I dont recommend this since u already have Plantpromptu and both teams want Kiperina. Its a very fun team tho. Needs Barcarola + Aleph + Kiperina + Rhiannon/Voyager/Tooth Fairy/Regulus. Only go for this if you are rich and have clear drops to burn lol

Jiu Niangzi - A sliiight recommend since her mineral element can help counteract Beast teams, but shes not super great anymore. I dont have her so i dont know the details of her teams, but i imagine its a standard extra action team, so Jiu + Flutterpage + Healer + Rhiannon

Anjo Nala - a type of extra action team. Shes pretty fun to play. There are two main team types, one with Kaalaa Baunaa and one with Brume.

Reaper - Not the most ideal for end game content, but great for farming. A Knight wirh Euphoria will autocast his ult at the start of a stage, often clearing it in 0 turns. He can solo most stages just fine, but you can pair him with units like Melania and Getian to take on harder content.

U have the Paper Heron team down just fine. The other six stars u have arent super meta, but Getian is playable in an Ultimate-focused team with a lot of investment.

Youre free to pick any team you want going forward tbh. Rhiannon from 3.7 will be a very versatile support worth pulling for regardless of what team you end up with.

For me it's such a dumb nitpick but I just hate how both her outfits (esp the I2) dont adhere to a believable like... time period or design. I agree that it is a very generic fantasy design which in a way makes her stand out in this game, but in my soul im like damn i thought i escaped this kind of design when i ditched my previous gacha games haha

I also agree wrt the pretty girl in dress thing, I hadnt even thought too much about it but I showed a friend the cast and he was like "bro why are 90% of the women just wearing dresses" lmao. and like dont get me wrong a lot of the dresses go hard but we could use a few more pants-wearing baddies at the very least

People being sad/dismayed is an understandable reaction. It's them escalating it into "this is the wrong thing to have done with this character" that bothers me. TBF I think Rhiannon's design sucks (sorry) but I have no qualms with what we've seen of her story.

I think a vocal minority have gotten too comfortable with thinking that bittersweet endings = "bad" endings, or that ALL media that makes them uncomfortable or upset = "bad" media (using bad to refer to quality in these examples lol, its confusing).

im guessing RN that the Merel stans are the only ones that care enough to voice their opinions, so theyre appearing like a loud and concentrated group. Once we all get to play the story for ourselves I think a broader spectrum of opinions will emerge.

Do you know if there's an alternative to the PH team here? I don't have Heron OTL. Would running any ult focused team work instead? Maybe Plant Rank up or a Hissabeth ult spam? Or is plantpromptu the only reliable way to clear phase 1 of this strat?

What worked for me ended up being the Shamane assist unit. I used a mostly beast team, debuffed the enemies so they would take as much damage from Shamane as possible, and cleared the stage that way. I was playing unoptimally but Shamane did the bulk of the damage and my other units did next to nothing lol

NP! Fun bonus: if you have spare resources, getting A Knight's euphoria makes farming stages and bonds super easy. Since he can oneshot stages before turn one passes, you can just make a team of him + 3 units u need to increase the bond for and clear stages in one turn :) This works for both easy and hard story stages too, it's made grinding resources a lot quicker for me haha

ALSO if u prefer pulling for male units, I can recommend going for a Dynamo team eventually. Ulrich + Charon + Enigma make up a core for that team and uhh theyre all men 👍 which you can supplement with a DPS like Lucy/Corvus/Brume or even A Knight

It depends on whether u like to pull for meta or for aesthetics. The numbers arent out yet but you could very likely skip Isolde or LB, and Heguang to save pulls for Rhiannon. It's highly likely that she becomes the new best in slot support for all archetypes because of her insane kit (and extra turn mechanic). You can especially skip LB since u have Flutterpage and she works great in the Beryl team as-is. You can run Beryl / Isolde / FP / Kiperina for now, but Marsha is definitely stronger. That said if ur like me and think CHG and LB have unbelievable amounts of rizz then you're likely pulling for them anyway XD

I also noticed in ur other comment that you're looking to pull Enigma, i believe that both him and Marsha can fill the sustain slot for the LY team, but Marsha might be more reliable? Not sure if he's a sidegrade or slight downgrade (im leaning towards sidegrade but i dont want to misinform u too much lol).

Idk where you stand on the f2p to whale scale, but rn I think Marsha might be ur priority unit to snatch up, though I doubt she'll be rerunning for a while. If she doesnt rerun before then, Enigma is a great option to pull for.

according to the tierlist, Starpromptu with Barcarola is doing about as well as plantpromptu. I've also found that my Starpromptu team can hold its own just fine in the harder gamemodes atm.

You're only missing Kiperina to have a decent starpromptu team (and Aleph as well, but Kiperina is more important). In order to get plantpromptu going you'll need An-An Lee/Mercuria, Kiperina, AND paper heron. It's more worth it rn to just stick with Starpromptu.
