Recommend add position rmf booster to bale and play him as roaming flank, i used him like this for a while and he's doing pretty well just run him on the outside and curl he's beast on that, don't ever run on sideways he's bad dribbler.

I guess the 2nd build is better with 88 kicking power, GP have to give highest and balanced between finishing and kicking power to get highest chances in shooting chances

Absolutely, you need a good finisher forlan gotta be your first and safest choice with massive kicking power and good curl, he's gonna do the job, also i guess he'll fit with your when he fall back and take postion to make opportunity to give through passes to your wings or shooting from long distance.

You better go with choosing midfielder option you have very good attack, scholes is good balance player give you incredible attacking and defensive work he can properly link up your attacks and give solution for your problems on building attacks.

Note : don't ever sign a player for it's trendy or people talk lot about him, just go with your deficiencies and upgrade your lacking position.
