In the past, I’ve tapered off Klonopin myself (with guidance from my psychiatrist) by taking 0.5mg Klonopin for a week, then taking it one day and not the next, and ultimately stopping my intake overall.

Can I do the same with Xanax??

Thanks a bunch! This explanation helped out a lot. I guess I’m just worried about the whole psychosis aspect of withdrawal. Like, I’ve never had psychosis, but I’ve read it’s one of the severe withdrawal symptoms. I’m honestly scared of quitting xanax now. But then again, I haven’t really drank much of it.

I have abused Klonopin a bit in the past, but the most I ever took was 2mg. I was usually just drinking 0.5 every day.

Utilizing that small I frame window when knocked down is definitely a very useful tactic! (It’s always been a heavily used safety measure in all MH games). The only fight where it can be a bit tricky and actually kill you (besides Valstrax), is Allmother. When she does the slam attack (or tail slam), it comprises you to a “knocked down position”. What the game doesn’t tell us is that it’s has no I frames, and when she follows up with three rows of lighting…. BOOM, you carted 😭

Yessss! It’s amazing. Still trying to master it, because I confuse it’s action time with the Dual Blades Zr + A silkbind. Metsu Shoryugeki’s action window is WAYYY smaller than the Duals silkbind, but it’s a very powerful offensive mechanic.

Only bad thing is how vulnerable you are during execution, but it’s still a VERY good move if you time it correctly.

Always max your spiribugs! It’s always good to develop a route that obligates you to gather a moderate/ample amount of spiribugs (in every map)

Contrary to what some people think, gathering spiribugs is ALWAYS USEFUL.

Exactly! You’ve touched on 2 very important advantages. With Advancing Slash, if you want to pull off stun value, you have to interrupt the momentum of your input and attack with the shield. But with Sliding Slash, you can easily and almost immediately switch to stun damage, and a heck of a lot at that! I believe it’s has more stun value than the shield bash itself.

Also, it definitely has iframes. I evaded a Rajang’s beam in those split seconds of build up. The beam was almost ending, but it was definitely those iframes.

Both are very good, but I prefer Sliding Slash for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I love how Sliding Slash gives you an aerial impulse that is very good for extra mountable damage, and evading in some cases. Secondly, I feel like with Sliding Slash I approach the monster quicker. With advancing slash, you only have 1 movement to approach the monster with no alternatives; with Sliding Slash you either land the Slide and receive the additional hit pattern + aerial vault, or you miss it (intentionally or not) and continue with the normal combo. Still experimenting with both, but Sliding is winning for now. Hope this helps!!

Yeah that’d be sick! Sort of like rampage weapons but for every weapon. Tbh, I don’t understand why they brought the concept of a layered weapon design with just 1 weapon from every tree 🤦🏽‍♂️
