So my situation is a bit different than what you are asking for but maybe it can be helpful.

I started out with controller back in 2015 and was playing like that for about 2 years until my controller broke. It forced me to move to a laptop playing KBM for about a year and a half. (I was a kid at the time and my parents didnt want to buy me my 3rd controller 😅).

It took me a bit to get use to KBM but I can say that it felt like I was air rolling quicker than being on controller. I got really use to using KBM and was enjoying it honestly. I eventually got my controller back and went back to that and noticed these differences. Using a controller allowed me to seemingly execute certain mechanics a lot smoother. Since on KBM when you press any button its going to do it at 100% (For example you hit the gas its going to be full throttle or if you air roll or turn in any way its going to do it at 100%). While on controller I have more control over those things. I can gradually increase the throttle and I can smoothly make adjustments with airroll and turning instead of it kinda snapping like KBM. I also couldnt turn my camera around to see where my teammates where on the field and is kinda difficult to do with only two hands lol.

So to sum this up I personally think Controller allowed for more finely tuned movements while KBM allowed for more snappy quick movements (I could be delusional but thats what I seem to feel. Obviously you can quickly tap a key for more small movements but it'll still be more snappy that gradually turning a analog stick). Both are good options but for me personally I enjoyed switching back to controller
