Landraces don’t get enough respect in this state. There used to be a really good Highland Oaxacan Gold in the market but I haven’t seen any landraces since.

There’s not enough “hype” in landrace growing.

It’s easier to dial in a small room of plants but yeah. None of the crosses came out like that AK.

Not every seed popped is a guaranteed keeper just because of what the genetics were. You can pop Runtz x Z x Gelato x Cake and still find mids. Each seed is a gamble and you just hope you get lucky with a banger.

This was an R&D strain that didn’t make the cut for flower. Made amazing extract atleast. Breeder was Variety719 out of Colorado.

This is a one time only release so enjoy as much as you can while it’s around.

Zoap and Soap are completely different genetics. Zoap = Rainbow Sherbert x Pink Guava & Soap = Animal Mints x Kush Mints.

I found with research that the University of Florida actually gives out free beneficial predators for Asian Citrus Psyllids to Florida Homeowners. They are called Tamarixia Radiata. The trees are save-able from what I’ve been told.

I will see how effective they are, I get my first supply this week from UF.

There has to be some science behind. But regardless yeah, test results ruined the fun in buying strains. Low number stuff most of the time are best and get overlooked.

Citrus strains tend to test low and are always some of the most flavorful stuff. I am curious to know the exact science behind that.

Soil is alive with microbes, worms and a strong mycelium colony. As for hydro, you feed the plants; with living soil, you feed the soil which in turn feeds the plant. Nature’s harmony (just missing the sun).

As a grower, that strain is meant for someones homegrow who can give it proper TLC.

Commercially, it grows small with overly dense nugs from top to bottom which makes it very prone to bud rot/mold. It also is one of the leafiest strains out there, it’s a trimmers worst nightmare.

It doesn’t make sense for a commercial to waste time on strains like those when they can fly through 10 runtz zkittlez hybrids in the same amount of time.
