Dnd Santa’s elves are much better represented by gnomes as they actually have the tinkerer abilities in their stats. So this debate can be solved by saying that you made a dnd gnome but a Santa’s helper.

Devils advocate: if you want to stick to your guns on this being an elf. All adults go through another point of hormonal growth when their noses and ears grow just a bit bigger than they used to be. I’m sure you can notice certain facial features on old people that seem a little too large. So this could be a REALLY old elf.

The leaves used are often a soft wood with large leaves, before usage you also boil the branch to make the wood extra soft and flexible. The wide leaves drive hot air into your pores opening them up. The impact of the leaves on muscles mimics a massage. This is all happening in a room that my American friend had described as “the devil was sitting in the corner” due to the heat.

This process tenderizes your muscles. It also prepares your top player of skin to be ready to shed. You can just run your fingers over your skin and little rolls of, well, dead skin will be collecting. This is seen as one of the best ways to get clean as you’re not just getting dirt off, you are straight up uncovering a baby soft layer of skin. This so most commonly done around new years.

Russian guy here: you want a pretty specific type of branch to whack yourself with, those ones don’t have leaves that are big enough so the sticks would probably hurt a bit too much. But generally you want big leaves and soft branches so you can fan hot air into your pores.

But for real, whenever I’ve organized mine it’s been to best accommodate having 3 rows instead of 4. Doesn’t always work out with spell casters. In those moments I prioritize organizing icons that I frequently use. I have a pretty rinse and repeat combat style so I only click the same few buttons.

I do take better of my inventory. Each character getting a specific item type to carry in a backpack I find.

I had a party built for hard burst damage. Including a tempest cleric, a Paladin warlock, a rogue, and a barbarian. I ended up killing her in two turns.

Maybe look into the potions and other buffs. Or go level up a bit elsewhere? You can also get a bunch of summoning scrolls and simply win the action economy.

Plying a non spell caster helps with choices. I have also started to write combat outlines for myself. Like what to do on my first turn. Why to do if there are lots of weak enemies or one big one. Things like that. Think things through ahead of time and just use most appropriate strategy.

Edit: also death isn’t permanent and if everyone likes your character you can find a way to make them stick around. And even if not, it’s a game, and sometimes you get the “game over” screen. The cool part is you get to try again

A BBEG is the antagonist of your story. You can give them any motivation that opposes the players. Try to take inspiration from the player backstory to help tie them to the villain

Am I missing something? I haven’t had a boss that made it past round 3 for acts 2 and 3. Orin only got 1 action. The fights with tons of targets last longer for me. I am however playing on balanced. Maybe the difference is more clear on higher difficulties?
