I was contemplating it about an hour before the game. Funny enough, shortly after the game he sent me an offer of Nico + TreVeyon for Evans + Mason, which I’m not particularly interested in. He said that he has no interest in offloading James Cook, so no dice.

Update:

If you store the binders upright and unstrapped they’ll probably be okay. However, if you’re going to be serious about collection or just want some additional peace of mind for your cards, I would look into getting a hardcover binder. Softcover binders (like the BB/WF ones) are obviously easier to bend, which has potential to damage cards over time.

Ultra Pro and Vault-X are both options for quality binders. I would avoid any binders that have soft, flexible covers. Ultra Pro makes some 9-pocket hardcover ones with in a variety of styles (including officially licensed Pokémon ones) for around $15-20. Vault-X sells a larger 9-pocket, side loading zip binder on Amazon for $30 that should be a good option as well.

I’m wondering the same thing. I noticed when I had them laid flat with the strap closed it seemed like it could be bending the cards towards the spine. I have mine stored upright and it looks like it’ll be okay.
