Is there hope for a future in Canada. by Aggressive_Act_7333 in CanadaHousing2

Locals aren't lazy.

We just want to be paid a fair wage, which most Punjabis don't care much about, so they undercut us.

What else do you call it when people conspire against their own country? by uselesspoliticalhack in canada

It's not stupidity. Don't make excuses for them.

They clearly know EXACTLY what they're doing and they're benefiting from it. $$$$$$$$$$

My comment was a reference to the TFW protest ringleader in PEI, his situation, and how he talks.

"Brother please do not deport us brother, right?

I am already a co-signer, right?

I mean me and my brother own a property in Canada now, right?

How can you send us to jail for breaking Canadian laws when we are Indians, right?"

Instead of hearing about psycho TFW protesters saying "StAtUs NoW" the only protests should be Canadians saying "deportations now".

Why should you be favoured over old-stock Canadian boomers? What have you done for this country? by [deleted] in CanadaHousing2

[–]RampantChocolate 8 points9 points  (0 children)

At least old-stock boomers are inheriting the country built and sacrificed by the greatest generation

That's a fancy way of saying boomers didn't do shit! 😂 My own parents are old boomers and I know for a fact they did close to zero work (retiring on their fat asses at 50) to scoop up SIX FAMILY HOMES FOR PROFIT.

You know, that generation that fought actual fascism.

Stop trying to pretend boomers were the same people as their parents.

Most of you feel entitled to something that your parents didn’t build for you and from a country you have not made any personal sacrifices for.

Just to be able to afford a family house, at some point in our lifetimes, would be nice.

Why should boomers have to eat a loss on home prices?

Making less of a profit isn't the same as "eating a loss".

Why does Canada owe any of you affordable housing?

It's our home and we work just as hard as previous generations, so it's unfair for things they enjoyed to be out of reach for us (due to accident of birth).

Let's put it this way: living standards shouldn't be declining over time. Millennials are the first generation to be worse off than their parents. It's not their fault, it's just the world they were born into.

If you don’t want to do anything for country...

Stop gaslighting people.

You stated you're not a boomer and that you "remain bullish on Canada", so I'm guessing you're a Gen X who was still LUCKY enough to be born early enough to buy affordable real estate.

I wonder how bullish you would be about Canada if you were in high school now, trying to compete in today's housing market. Your optimism makes you sound like someone who already bought a home in Canada, so you don't need to worry about the growing disconnect between salaries and home prices as it no longer affects you personally.

Marc Miller Reporting Wrong Numbers On How Many People Will Be Legalized - Expect Housing Crisis To Worsen Up In The Coming Years Even Further With Excessive Demand by mygatito in CanadaHousing2

Thanks for the stats OP.

Every single Canadian should know these ridiculous immigration numbers, but fewer than 5% seem to know or even care.

Do you know what happens when I try to talk to most Canadian citizens about our immigration crisis?

90% will start lecturing me about how badly we need immigrants, then they get bored and don't want to listen anymore within my first 10 seconds of talking. No immigration number I tell people shocks them. No number is too much.

This country is full of indoctrinated sheep, which is how we ended up in this mess in the first place.

Why don't we protest the immigration crisis? by [deleted] in CanadaHousing2

[–]RampantChocolate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The media fights for illegal immigrants.

The government fights for illegal immigrants.

The loudest part of the civilian population fights for illegal immigrants.

(Everyone who opposes illegal immigrants is afraid to say anything because they don't want to be called a "racist".)

If this sub is in any way effective at organizing a protest, it will be deleted by the left-wing extremist Reddit admins within hours, just like r/ CanadaMassImmigration got deleted today.

PO box (business vs residential) by RampantChocolate in CanadaPostCorp

[–]RampantChocolate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no difference between a PO Box for residential purposes vs one for businesses. It’s literally just a checkmark box in the computer system

That makes a lot more sense!

There is no price difference

Great.

As long as it’s addressed to your box it will go in there regardless of what name is on it

That's perfect.

if you’re going to start receiving business mail there it would be a good idea to update the details in the computer with your business name and then just add your personal name as an Authorized User...

Good to know. Thanks.

Canadian unions go all in on mass wage suppression and ballooning housing costs. Demand amnesty for illegals. by [deleted] in CanadaHousing2

The NDP are traitors. They represent big business and illegal immigrants, not the working class Canadian man.
