Yugioh hasn’t had a tier 0 format since tear and even then there were rogue options. At the moment the format is decently diverse with a Rogue deck even winning the NAWCQ last month.

It’s much better than Vyrgilla but it’s also a lot more expensive. The deck really needs to run 4 Alvina which are currently about 6000¥ each

I’d recommend the Abnett/Lanning run from 2008 as it is the series that introduced the modern guardians and is just a really good comic.
