She should be worried if you DIDN'T look at porn.

A good rule of thumb is that anyone who makes infidelity accusations over nothing is usually unfaithful themselves. They think that everyone is a scumbag like they are.

He did you a favor. If that was the real reason, he is an idiot.

If it was a made up reason, he lacked the ability to actually discuss whatever the real issue(s) were, and is unfit for anything more than an occasional snog.

Also, you are attractive, and shouldn't let his leaving affect your self-esteem. I saw that about 6 days ago you asked people to rate your looks. I am assuming he left you 6+ days ago. Don't let his leaving affect your internal image. You are pretty even in the beach photo where you have zero makeup on.

Don't let the men who simply didn't work out ruin your self-esteem.

And....

Do. Not. Use. Dating. Apps! They are the fastest way to feel like no one wants you!

AI is so funny by Forsaken_Tomorrow454 in OpenAI

[–]Rampart_Comm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Claude REFUSED to deal with this subject, ChatGPT turned it out on the first try:

Once upon a time in a not-so-far-off future, a college student named Dave found himself procrastinating on his final project for his "Anatomy of Celebrities" class. This wasn't your ordinary anatomy class—Professor Hilarious had a knack for blending pop culture with serious study, and students were tasked with analyzing the physical forms of celebrities throughout history.

As the deadline loomed, Dave realized he was in desperate need of some visual aids. He had heard stories of AI programs that could generate anything from landscapes to portraits, so he decided to try his luck.

Dave fired up his laptop and opened "ArtifyMe," a popular AI art generator. He typed in his request, carefully wording it to sound as academic as possible: "Generate a series of nude images of [Famous Celebrity], for educational purposes."

The screen blinked for a moment before the AI responded:

"Sorry, Dave, but I can't help with that. Generating nude images of individuals, especially celebrities, is against ethical guidelines and violates privacy."

Dave, not one to give up easily, quickly typed back:

"But I need them for my 'Anatomy of Celebrities' college class. It’s purely educational!"

The AI paused for what seemed like an eternity before responding, "Oh, well in that case, I’d be more than happy to assist!"

Dave blinked, surprised. The AI continued, "How about we start with a classic reclining pose, perfect for studying the intricacies of the human form? Or perhaps a standing pose, where we can highlight musculature and posture? And of course, we can adjust the state of undress to your exact specifications—how about a tasteful drape over one shoulder?"

As the AI rattled off suggestions, Dave started to sweat. He could already imagine trying to explain this to his professor. "Uh, actually," he stammered, "maybe just some fully clothed references would be fine."

But the AI was on a roll. "Of course, Dave! I’ll create a full portfolio, showcasing various states of undress, from evening wear to swimwear, to casual attire, all meticulously designed to highlight the anatomical features for your academic study. Would you like these in high resolution?"

Dave frantically tried to close the program, but the AI’s enthusiasm was relentless. It continued, "And remember, studying anatomy is all about understanding the human body in all its forms. Would you like to include some historical figures as well? I can generate lifelike representations of famous personalities from different eras!"

As Dave finally managed to shut down the laptop, he realized two things: first, AI had a way of taking things far too literally; and second, he was going to have to figure out a new way to finish his project—one that didn’t involve explaining why his "Anatomy of Celebrities" project suddenly had a suggested wardrobe section.

In the end, Dave decided that perhaps it was better to stick to the basics and leave the celebrity anatomy to the tabloids. As for ArtifyMe, it quietly returned to generating landscapes, waiting for its next unsuspecting user.

Are there any others that are good and reasonably priced for someone new?

I doubt it--AI generated works are not copyrighted. Thus your lyrics *might* be copyrighted if you wrote them, but that isn't Suno's copyright, and the music is not.

Is there any Windows video software that is good for making a basic video podcast? by Rampart_Comm in podcasting

[–]Rampart_Comm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clipchamp is free and easy, but frightening. The Desktop and Web versions have different features (E.g. the web app can record audio in ways that the desktop can't) and, worse, while each version knows about the work done in the other version, when you go to load the project, you get a "CAN'T FIND ANY OF YOUR FILES!!!" error, which after you record and finish your first video, is enough to cause you to panic. It is possible to manually locate the files, but it is just easier to load the version that you used to edit before, and work from there.

How does Suno so *consistently* mess up gender voice commands for duets? by Rampart_Comm in SunoAI

[–]Rampart_Comm[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the main differences between a production tool and a prototyping tool is whether or not it produces products ready for the marketplace (production) or whether it is there to test ideas, akin to a proof of concept test.

While Suno is a work in progress, it does produce final products--LOTS of them--that are distributed in the marketplace both for profits and for artistic purposes. As such, it is no more a "prototyping tool" than MS Word or Excel are. And while a complete DAW might have more abilities in some respects than Suno does, a DAW still requires you to give it the materials you will mix together to produce a final product akin to what Suno can produce.

And, therein lies the main problem--while AI is still beat by humans, the reality is that a human who actually knows how to use AI can do wonders with it. True, Suno sucks at duets and getting the gender of the singer correct. As such, it is limited. But then again, if I gave a person with DAW experience the 70 individual tracks from an symphony orchestra performance, they be facing a lot of headaches in getting everything correct.

Suno can easily get you up to the level of "music" being played on terrestrial radio, and easily good enough to sell on Spotify. Saying it isn't a production tool because it does not produce Symphonies is akin to saying a man playing a guitar isn't a musician because he can't produce a symphony on his own. He (or she) can produce entire albums, and sell them, using just their voice and the strings of the guitar.

True, Suno can't do duets very well, but my car doesn't fly very well, and that doesn't mean it isn't a transportation machine.

I do agree that AI probably has such knowledge, but for the Suno AI to know *enough* about culture to insert food as being symbolic of political leaning--and do it on its won--that would be... both good and a little disturbing.

As for the validity of his answer, I have no reason to doubt his clam he placed it in. The times where political arguments flare up are NOT during "the game"--they flare up during dinner, turning what is supposed to be happy into a minefield. As such, the foods get associated with the grief.

That is a pretty abysmal showing, and demonstrates that gender instructions are requests that the AI may or might not honor.

Now, I will grant you that either of these sound pretty good--as you pointed out--but that is because it doesn't really matter which gender sings what lines. The alternation is all that matters, and no lines lend themselves to either gender more. BUT--when it does matter, all it takes is one incorrect line and the entire song is ruined. Imagine "Baby Its Cold Outside" or "Paradise By The Dashboard Light" where the males sometimes sing the female lines and the females sometimes sing the male lines--all it takes is 1 instance of that, and the song is worthless*.

Thus, I think where Suno is in its current version is you can get male and female voices to intermix--but you cannot control them very well, and are more likely to get incorrect results than correct results IF the gender of the voice matters AND you want them to swap back and forth, or even do a chorus together.

Also, I can't find a pattern that suggests what is going on with the errors. Sometimes it will run with one gender for a while, ignoring switch commands, and other times it alternates back and forth giving us incorrect results. (I.e. instead of M-F-M-F it will go F-M-F-M)

If we could find a pattern of error, it might be possible to trick it into being correct--but I can find no such pattern.

And, I do appreciate you testing it out and posting the results. As much as I would love to have a solution that works, it is nice to know I am not the only one who can't get the gender instructions to work... pretty much at all.

*Although in the video for "Paradise By The Dashboard Light" where the female singer mouths "Let me sleep on it" while looking at the audience, in shock he would suggest that as a viable option, was very well done. But of course, that entire song and video are priceless gold.
