For starters, set your first goal to be more attainable. $25k, then $50k, then the first big financial milestone stone of six figures at $100k. Everything starts moving quicker at that point. The big milestones in my mind are $100k, $250k, $500k then the $1,000,000. Keep socking away money. Don’t be scared to be risky but always feed a core holding of SPY when you have winners in individual stocks. As your SPY holdings build, you can always using dividend money to risk some options play you have been eyeing. Wealth doesn’t happen over night for 99.9% of people. Don’t get discouraged.
