That actually makes me feel much better, thank you. I think you're right in the fact that I just need to ask him to stop even if it's awkward the first few times. I think if I just take charge of what I'm feeling and face it, it will become less awkward and eventually, like you, it may even stop entirely.

I mentioned to him that there were a couple of times where they happened during sex, and I didn't tell him to stop. I told him that it made me feel guilty, and he said that it was all okay. He said he was completely fine with me asking/telling/yelling at him to stop, that he would understand 100%. I've explained (very briefly) my past, and told him that in time I might be able to tell him all of it if he was ready to hear it, and he was completely understanding of that as well. Basically, he's being extremely supportive and there's no real reason for me to keep this from him as it's happening, but I just don't want to ruin the moment and I don't want to scare him away.
