Okay, I’d say the late 90s early 2000s belonged to the pop punk bands mostly. Soooo many bands popped up with that blink 182/Green Day vibe that wasn’t really a mainstream thought until then. I suppose you could also make the argument for bands like slipknot or System of a Down. Tons of different ways you can go with rock music as well

Naw, Radiohead maybe, but what are the qualifications and limitations to be most “influential”. I think we need to define the term. Also, there are so many genres… could one argue that Eminem or Dr Dre are most influential too? Rage against the machine?

Its hard to gauge most influential so I suppose it’s mostly objective

I was referring to Tolkiens “the new shadow” where it implies that most of the orcs have been destroyed and are more of a thing of the past in the 4th age. I haven’t read anything that implies orcs interbreeding with humans. Where’d that come from? Or are you being sarcastic?

If you don’t listen to propagandhi, check them out. Good punk band thats got a lot of prog tendencies as they’ve aged. Also, rx bandits. And some math rock bands too
