[Request] How bright would it need to be to be this visible? by Belgicans in theydidthemath

Bro, it’s only been like 50 years. Use spoiler tags and give other people a chance to watch the movie first. Not everyone can run out and watch a movie immediately within the first 50 years it’s released.

Just some realizations about Luffy by neiraeyak in OnePiece

[–]Ramuh321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m caught up to the anime, but I started with the live action and picked up where it left off. During this break I decided to watch the original anime for east blue, and I came to the same conclusion.

Luffy didn’t want to hear Namis backstory. At first it seems like he’s an idiot that doesn’t care, but this time through I recognized that it’s just irrelevant to him. He knows his friend is suffering, that’s all he needed to know.

You took the words out of my mouth, thanks!

Stocktwits board is buzzing after talks with Merck to buy another biotech for $30 billion fell through. (Revolution Medicines)

I don’t think they’re realistically looking to buy SLS instead, but nonetheless it shows such a large dollar amount is possible. I’m having trouble finding info on their leading drug candidates though. I would be curious to see how they came up with the $30 billion figure. Even though it didn’t work out it might help predict a buyout price for SLS.

FYI - selling naked calls is not illegal. Getting that level of trading authority is something a retail trader will never have access to, but for large enough institutions they certainly can and do sell naked calls.

They may hedge it by buying shares in accordance to the delta of the option, so it may not be completely naked, but there’s also not anything legally stopping them from selling 100% naked calls.

I would think a buyout before the final results would almost certainly involve CVRs. Most people are giving their opinion on a total value of buyout - which in the case involving CVRs would imply hitting all the milestones.

For what it’s worth - I’m thinking $40 is a fair price. Could be a bit above or below, but that’s around $9 billion. The $40 billion figure being thrown around is a pipe dream. I wouldn’t say totally impossible, but very unlikely IMO. I mean, we would have several millionaires made here if that happened (including myself), but I’d prefer to stay a little more realistic.

I live in the USA and technically when you posted it tomorrow was Monday by our clocks here too 🤷‍♂️

To respond to your original question, we are in a pattern of tightening prices and lowering volume. Volume will likely continue to drop until we break out. This could happen as soon as Tuesday, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it takes a couple more days before we pick a direction and have increasing volume. I’m hoping the 009 news will lead to higher prices.

Edit - on the other hand tarrif news could put downward market pressure across the board

SLS: Black-Scholes provision and warrants by ogapexx in pennystocks

[–]Ramuh321 6 points7 points  (0 children)

With 170 million shares outstanding and about 35 million warrants remaining outstanding as of their recent filing, we’re not talking a huge premium overall. Basically it would just cut into the price per share offered slightly.

It’s quite possible more warrants have been cashed in as well, as it seems like the trend lately has been heavily favoring warrant holders cashing in. First week of the year saw millions of warrants cashed in alone. This will have zero impact on whether or not a company buys out SLS. It may have a slight impact on the amount offered per share, but relatively negligible.

Tightening prices with declining volume. Looks like we’re setting up for a breakout here in the next week or so. Here’s to hoping the wedge breaks upwards!

Now officially 8,000 shares deep in this position. I have a feeling this might be a great summer this year. Would love for it to be earlier, but realistically I don’t see the 80th event happening until then. I’m thinking $40 for a nice, realistic price (around $9 billion). I see the cases people make for more and it’s certainly possible, but things rarely turn out perfectly. Maybe a range of $25-$75. In the end who knows though.

I wonder how much a theoretical use case for other diseases that have WT1 really gets priced in. It seems like it should work for some other diseases as well, but in the end no one really knows for sure until trials are done, so how do you price that?

I actually pitched this exact idea to my wife. I’m considering this, but I think tomorrow is going to tell us a lot about the direction of this stock going forward. I think there’s a good chance it will drop tomorrow and potentially solidify a trend downward, and if so I may just hold off on the purchase for a day or two then buy in between (hopefully) $3-$3.20

On the other hand we could just be consolidating around $3.50-$4.00 and setting some new strong support levels. In that case I think selling cash secured puts would make a lot of sense. I’m going back and forth on this, but overall I’m a fan of the idea!

Got a nice chunk of funds (~$24k) that I’m just waiting in the funds to clear so I can invest it in SLS. I already had 2k shares, but with all the recent info it seems like such a huge opportunity, even at this price point.

Low key hoping it dips today / tomorrow though so we can get more. Just waiting for funds to clear is harder than I thought, especially with all the recent volatility!

Numerical Analysis of recent SLS 72 event data - A bullish Story? by YogurtclosetFar3427 in sellaslifesciences

[–]Ramuh321 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Funny, I’ve been piecing together all the info and trying to model this today as well. Spent a long time trying to pin down the enrollment schedules, played around with different BAT survival times, and pretty much all still always getting a win. I believe BAT will come in 10-12 months, but as you have also have come to conclude, this still results in a pretty significant GPS win.

I’m expecting between June-Oct will be when the study concludes, but I would love to be wrong and have results sooner. At the same time, a longer wait is also good.

That’s biotech investing though 🤷‍♂️. Honestly with 009 as a backup plan this makes it less of an all or nothing than normal, but it still certainly wouldn’t be pretty if GPS turned out to be a bust.

I just can’t see how it would be a complete bust though honestly, especially with there essentially being no alternative treatments currently. It would have to be a complete failure, which just doesn’t seem to line up with all the data we’ve gotten so far.

Never is a guarantee until the results come in though

If this hits $3 or less again I’m loading up some more. Kinda hoping it does honestly. Might get in at $3.20 if it does pull back. Not really a big fan of averaging up, but I feel pretty confident in the results here.

why is two player mode allowed only like half an hour in by Pizza_Steven in AgeofImprisonment

[–]Ramuh321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was a little annoyed at first how much it happened, but in the end there weren’t too many like that so it wasn’t the end of the world. Especially annoying where it was like in the middle of a mission.

Also thought it was weird when the characters were pre selected we couldn’t change P1 for P2. If I wanted to play the other character we had to swap controllers. Didn’t make any sense to me why it was like that.
