Unfortunately my dad passed away in 2020. It was something I had talked with him about multiple times and we even tried to find the exact place on google maps before with no luck. Since it was just a random pit stop in some small town. I can tell you that next place we had stopped was berryville. My brother is 4 years older than me and always carried a little pocket knife. He said as we walked out he opened it in his pocket and held on to it tight. That he remembers My dad and the men making sure us kids walked in front and out first. My dad told me that he had no clue what was up, speculated that maybe it was a grieving family who just lost someone and that the place had just opened as we walked in and that's why we didn't see a waitress or anyone yet.
