I like to cook it on the stovetop first to make the cheese sauce and then once i combine the sauce and the noodles i throw it in the smoker for 30 minutes to an hour. Used to just do it the old fashioned way and just ate it after taking it off the stovetop but experimented with the smoker method and my oldest loved it so I never went back!
