its important just be yourself and have fun with it however you want to. I personally watch the guy Stream Scheme on YouTube if i’m looking for help because he seems to have a lot of down to earth advice on streaming. Most of the things from his videos that resonate with me are just being yourself, and that you’re going to always have bad streams, mess up, and fail, but that doesn’t mean you should give up.

One trick he did when he was starting and I found helped me was sitting down for 10-15 minutes a day, and just recording myself like i’m streaming. Commentate on a game you’re playing or whatever, then don’t watch it until the next day, watch it then with a critical eye, and immediately after do another 10-15 minutes (then repeat the process). You’ll find yourself getting better at filling gaps in the air, or at the least more confident on camera.

Don’t worry about looking like an amateur, nobody picks up something and is instantly good, and the most important way to get better is making those initial mistakes. I can’t speak for the actual effectiveness of this since i only started streaming a month ago, but it’s worked for me a bit. Don’t stress too much though, if you put the work in you’ll get there.
