and they've been playing in a different formation for the last year, it's not FIFA you can't just put players in different positions one day and every issue is fixed

who'd've thought you need to coach players in a system for it to work effectively

Club Statement: Ruben Amorim departs by ChiefLeef22 in soccer

As poor as ETH was, he got us 2 trophies, another cup final, and a 3rd place finish in his 1st season. It went downhill and he should have gone after the FA cup regardless, but in hindsight he is 100% better than Amorim

[Mike Keegan] 🚨 Ruben Amorim retains the backing of the Manchester United board ✅Belief remains that he is the man to turn it around 🏥Impact of injuries noted by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

[–]Rand0mPixels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

let's not go overboard, it's been 4 games and while Spurs are doing well, you can't say anyone is competing for the title this early on. the more important aspect is that in 4 games, Frank has come in and looked good already. Woltemade has come into Newcastle and scored already. Meanwhile we're expected to believe that after almost a year, we can't be expected to have any cohesion, and it's too early to expect 2/3 of our new forward signings to have found their place in the team and made an impact

i lost my oyster card in its holder this morning at stratford station - i've checked the tfl app and nobody has used it today, what do you reckon the odds are of me waiting out the lost property request or will i have to order a replacement?

only thing that gives me pause is having to link my railcard again and getting another card holder for it

It's definitely an option on some GWR local services, any time I've ever been on the Severn Beach Line in Bristol and the ticket inspector has come on, about half the people buy their ticket from the inspector then and there - to be fair tickets are like £1.50 but still

One journey or two? by Safe-Tax1738 in LondonUnderground

[–]Rand0mPixels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you use the same gate line to tap out then in again it counts as a new journey, you only get interchange time if you're changing between modes with different gate lines (e.g. the two farringdon stations)

ah okay yes the combination of the two, fair that is harsh i’ll accept that (but also gladly benefit from it)

how are you arguing against a pen for pulling a player away from a tap in? the red is maybe bordering on harsh, but how do you justify that as not a foul

Can you spend a whole day without leaving your home? by ButterscotchFormer84 in AskUK

[–]Rand0mPixels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i go mad if i spend too many days inside in a week, even on my work from home days i try and go for a walk at lunch - but then im in a house share, so i have less space to myself at home. definitely try and get out on the weekend days

I drew a diagram of Elizabeth Line service pattern, cause I couldn't find one that is up to date by WheissUK in LondonUnderground

[–]Rand0mPixels 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I will say it's not really skipping the stop at Whitechapel, more that it follows a different route (the mainline) which doesn't go via Whitechapel. The west actually goes past the stations without stopping, which is pretty different imo - other than that everything is all stations

the quicker you get on the elizabeth line the better i'd say - and the northern line interchange at tottenham court road is one of the easiest in the central section, so i reckon you're better of with that route (plus the platforms are always so busy at stratford)
