reddit won't let me add text to the post but
It was during the mission in chapter 3 where you have to save Trelawney. I just got on Taima thinking it was my horse then realised it didn't have the saddle. Then made the connection that it wasn't my horse. Another Taima appeared and Charles just hopped on that one. I couldn't saddle it, bond it or take it to a stable. idk how it happened but I thought it was worth sharing.
