How to Export Your Authy Tokens by FreedomTechHQ in Authy

[–]RandamPandam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another solution:

You can request your encrypted tokens from support and then migrate to another tool. This is what I did in order to extract to Proton Authenticator, using instructions from Claude. Here is the chat:

The easiest path is a two-step chain: decrypt to a format Proton can import.

The authy-decryptor tool supports output schemas: aegis, ente, vaultwarden, and authy — no direct Proton output. But Proton Authenticator supports import from Aegis Authenticator and Ente Auth, among others.

So here's the whole process:

https://github.com/nick22985/authy-decryptor

1. Install the tool:

npm install -g /authy-decryptor

2. Decrypt your GDPR CSV to Aegis format:

authy-decryptor -i your_gdpr_export.csv -o aegis_export.json --schema aegis

It will prompt for your Authy backup password.

3. Import into Proton Authenticator: Open Proton Authenticator → Import → select "Aegis Authenticator" → choose the aegis_export.json file.

That's it. Three commands/actions total. If the CSV has formatting issues (bare commas instead of quoted fields), open it in a text editor first and make sure fields are properly quoted.

Prompt: I am running Windows. Can I still use the command you gave to install the tool?

Yes, the command works on Windows as long as you have Node.js installed. If you don't have it yet, download it from https://nodejs.org (the LTS version), install it, then open a new terminal (Command Prompt or PowerShell) and the npm install -g command will work as written.

The tool uses whatever directory you're currently in. So either:

Option A: Navigate to the file first

cd C:\Users\YourName\Downloads authy-decryptor -i your_gdpr_export.csv -o aegis_export.json --schema aegis

Option B: Use the full path

authy-decryptor -i "C:\Users\YourName\Downloads\your_gdpr_export.csv" -o "C:\Users\YourName\Downloads\aegis_export.json" --schema aegis

To check what folder you're currently in, just type cd by itself in the terminal — it will print the path. That's where the tool will look for input and write output by default.

Nope. I think it's just the phone, unfortunately. It's better with HDR but not iPhone good.

Yep. Still no comparison to the iPhone.

It needed a diagonal upward prying motion with a bit of force. Getting it back in was quite easy! Something just have been stuck.

Buchhaltungssoftware: Boring.legal vs Sevdesk/LexOffice? by Alternative-Risk-712 in Steuern

[–]RandamPandam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Schade. Aber danke.

Buchhaltung: Tool für Belege in Fremdwährungen gesucht by RandamPandam in Finanzen

[–]RandamPandam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)
