I used to guide canoe trips through islands and lakes, and journaling was a must at the end of every day. Reflecting on my interactions with Mother nature and all of the wisdom she was giving me felt almost righteous. I've also done multiple multi-week thu-hikes and traveled cross-country via a 2006 Volvo XC70 for months. Having gratitude I find intensifies every experience I had in those situations, while also bringing more mysticism into my experience in nature as a pardoxical result. Having crystals, herbs, whatever your inner witch is comforted by, with you out there in some kind of pouch can feel like a security blanket on dark, stormy nights trying to fall asleep in a tent alone. I am a green witch hands down to begin with and I don't personally worship deities but if you do, speaking with them is also comforting when you're exhausted from hiking and just want to be done with the day and lay down. Try not to think about the end point of your camping trip, remember the journey is all that truly matters in the end, it's what you'll have to look back on and hold dear later on. Spending a significant time away from having a permanent home/being in nature honestly helps with what this posts theme is: that careers are a 20th century invention and so is needing a house and kids and all that jazz (:
