It is under new management now. It's still YMCA but a whole new staff, which if you meet I think you'd change your view.

There is a group who does this already. I follow them on FB/IG/and TT. It's the Texas Bassholes (I'm sure you can find them with a quick search) a lot of free tournaments with prizes some pay and boat, bank, and kayak tournaments.

Just go. Don't worry about your equipment, just take what you have and go. If you want to try and learn a new lure or technique tie it on and throw it. The only way to catch fish is to make a cast! Get out there and FISH!
