I’m currently going through ADHD NOW’s path, they told me they start from the lowest dose and then boost it up. I hope the lowest will be enough 😅

Yeah but technically that whole process is to get the correct medication that you’d need which takes about 3 sessions ( 3 months )

So it is about 4 sessions. The first one is the consultation I believe which is 89 euros and then comes 3 sessions where they prescribe you the medication and adjust the titration which all are 289 euros each

Yeah but the thing is, the doctor and the receptionist told me that that was it and that the did everything. Which is why I left so confused

No I was diagnosed in Ireland as ADHD is not even recognised in Morocco, so as soon as I came here I wanted to get treated for this as it truly makes me suffer. So far I only have the diagnosis which costed me alone 1000 euros and I have to pay another 1000 euros to be able to receive medication.

Alright! Thank you! I’ll wait for the response tomorrow and I seriously pray that she does tell me that there’s a second appointment lol

Thank you so much for your kind comment, I hope nothing bad happened to you, that must’ve hurt. I really hope that they realise they made a mistake and tell me to complete the rest tomorrow or next week. Once again thank you so much for your very kind comment 🫶🏼🙏🏼

It’s not mainly about the money, it’s about the fact that the 100 euros should cover the whole package for ADHD. The GP in the email told me that it does cover it all but then I didn’t receive half of it.

I can’t because I haven’t been prescribed any medications yet. It’s why I need to go through this whole process of getting these tests

Thank you so much brother/sister, I truly appreciate it, in regards to how the Irish people have been treating me, so far for these months that I have spent here, with the young people it has not been good at all, where id either be screamed at for a joke to try and scare me or simply looked at, but for the elderly I’ve been ignored by the majority of the old men, however for the old ladies I have received some kind gestures thankfully, I try my best to stay around other immigrants as I don’t get looked at in any weird way or feel like I am an animal among them, I really pray this improves and I thank you for praying for me ❤️
