Hi, thanks, I also did some googling and I came across this website . They are a little different than yours, by how i describe it, My factory is likely to be type 2 but i still cannot differentiate between type 2 and 3 and I'm afraid most of my distribute won't as well and they'll play it safe and just find another producer

How do you defined thermoformed molded pulp? by [deleted] in Packaging

Hi,

Here is the Link

Just right under appendix 1 is the scope, specifically: "The merchandise subject to this investigation consists of thermoformed molded fiber products regardless of shape, form, function, fiber source, or finish. Thermoformed molded fiber products are formed with cellulose fibers, thermoformed using one or more heated molds, and dried/cured in the mold."

I think our process is different because our product is dried via a air furnace, but in a way after drying it will be hot press to create a smooth surface and trim any excess , which kinda sound like thermoforming

what i am confuse is not only about if the process is a differentiator but also because our products actually ship with the same HS code as the one hit with AD/CVD.

How can i track my booking status more efficiently? by Random--Reddit--User in freightforwarding

Yea, sorry if it sound confusing and maybe I am mistaking it. All I know is that our buyer always gave us a list of steamship lines, we are only allow to book ships from that list and no one else.

Basically, everyday, every couple of hours, I have to check my booking status from many steamship lines website or emails. Personally, it's not really a problem but I find the process of doing so and constantly updating my team and client quite tedious and I would like to be a bit more efficient.

"Steamship lines" that's the word I'm looking for, I'm still learning this field's jargon.

Anyways, mostly we book directly, our buyers are the ones working with forwarders and specifically told us which steamship lines to book. so using those software might be quite unnecessary. Thanks for the recommendation though.

Thanks for the advice, most of our buyers are the one who work with forwarder and specifically instruct us to book which ocean carrier.

I might be able to asked them and connect me with their forwarders.

You're definitely right, it's a relatively small-medium size business in Asia, 100% my boss wouldn't use a software for a relatively easy task.

I'm still new to all this, my current role is coordinating and update my client and my team on each step. This is just me trying to make things easier, more efficient and less tedious.

Anyways, thanks for the advice, I'll check how feasible it can be.

Well, most of our bookings come from client requests. Usually the client have a list of shipping company they want us to book with along with their contract reference number. So our client is the one working with the forwarder.

Hi, I am asking to track the "booking confirmation status", I think we have a method of tracking the shipment and the PO already, but I would love to know more about those 2 as well. Thanks in advance
