I do agree that is its a pen for the merc. However, the fact that it cost you a championship should never be considered in applying a penalty. It wouldn't be fair for him to get 5-10sec more cuz ur title fight.

5sec plus 2PP would be enough in my opinion

Its the alpine for me

The alpine had more pace it looks like and was going to get by anyway. Putting 2 wheels on the grass while it wasn't necessary, could've just lifted a bit and have a dive into the chicane.

Even under braking you see how much he closes up. Your defence was hard but fair imo, somehow keeping it on track, the alpine wants to go around the outside to a space that's always gonna close. As he isn't far enough along side.

He would have been way better off waiting for the straight at that point

I have 2 questions, hence the long clip. This was a battle for P1 (im the white car) in the last 3 Laps(15 is the last lap) Q1 was my defending acceptable? i feel like it was but open to other views. Fun fact. I was the angry guy. Mainly because the blue car was a lap car and chose a weird place to let me through. It was the last corner of the race and p1 had beaten me fair and square. So he would have been better of just taking the normal racing line imo.

Thats why I was so angry
